Judge Juan Merchan began day 11 of Donald Trump’s hush money trial by correcting the former president. The previous day Trump claimed the gag order prevented him from testifying, but that is not true. Judge Merchan reiterated in court that Trump has the absolute right to testify if he chooses. #CNN #News

    • Lmfao, your hilarious. Your statement made based on CNN narrative? Have you actually watched the whole video, what he was asked and how he answered? Or did you simply believe what CNN said with a short blip that takes what actually happened, completely out of context. Seriously, go and watch it. Had nothing to do with testifying in court and only related to testifying in public, to the media. He's not allowed to call people out on their slanders, he is not allowed to talk about the case in public either. CNN now saying, oh he can say lots of things, judge didn't say that. Judge said Trump can testify in court, which Trump never claimed differently. People need to start confirming CNN videos. Take what CNN says as a bullet point and then go look into the source and actual relevant information. CNN is even worse then fox news now!

    • In affect his lawyer told him he could not testify with the gag order when in fact he can. This would not be disagreeing with his client; it is doing the opposite of representing him.

      @dave_ecclectic@dave_ecclectic18 күн бұрын
    • @@dave_ecclectic - This is just not how the code of ethics works for lawyers. In every effect, a client is in charge of their case. The lawyer is an employee. The client is allowed to lie all they want....and a lawyer is not PERMITTED to stop them as it is the client who decides when they want to lie or not lie. The only option a lawyer has to fight a client who wants to lie is to make it obvious that they are lying... but even this would be restricted to when under oath. Often lawyers will do this by asking to be removed from the case or putting their client on the stand and not actually asking any questions. But to reiterate, it is not the lawyers job to publicly correct their client.... and to do so would most likely anger the client.

    • Lol. Why would anyone have respect for a Kangaroo court in which most legal scholars and judges both on left/right all oppose and call this a misuse of justice. Furthermore, Trumps reference to not testifying was that he can't testify in public. The proof of his meaning is that he was asked questions by the media and was not allowed to respond due to gag order. CNN is literally picking things and taking them out of context and putting it out to all you views. Fools need to actually go and watch these whole videos instead of the short blurps CNN is to play. CNN is now known for not being factual with any of their coverage and a campaign of ensuring only negative attention is given to Trump. Any news that makes Trump opponents look bad is completely ignored. All you people need to wake up. Fox News, NBC, CNN are all a total joke and totally biased. Like even with all CNN coverage, how can you ignore the Supreme Court rulings against CNN campaigns of misinformation and disinformation. How can you ignore judges on the left, publicly stating their dissent. Just because CNN doesn't talk about it, doesn't mean you should ignore it. Access to information is a great thing, you don't need to rely on any media group. You can literally go find full video/transcripts and discover the truth. Anyone here who makes a comment believing anything CNN says, your moronic. Seriously, go and actually listen to the question Trump was asked and what his response was. Once you do, you will realize how CNN knowingly took what was said out of context to portray a narrative they want. Seriously, takes you a few minutes and trust me, you will be yelling at yourself when you realize their attempt here was pathetic. That is how stupid CNN thinks all of you people are, that you believe total nonsense when it's so easy for you to confirm.
