  • Athletes are very rarely smart. They make money from physicality, not mental abilities. Of course there are exceptions but seriously smart football players, to name just one sport, are about two or three per decade. Its the same ratio for any sport.

  • A prepaid cell phone SIM card vending machine? Rocket didn't make entirely dumb decisions. In the case of the vending machine, he was too far ahead of his time. Today, it would make sense to invest in. I like the idea of keeping a 4G phone and then adding a prepaid SIM card or topping it off with minutes every so often. I'm the kind of customer he was trying to reach out to: we don't use a lot of minutes but we do need a 4G phone for emergencies without being tied into a contract.
