  • I purchased both the medium kzhead.infoUgkxfh2XUOHWYHKQYOvSq2gZ6PyCmVkTFGWz and small speed bags from Meister. I'm very glad I got both as the workout is quite different from the two. The small is fantastic for getting your speed built up once familiar with your striking. The medium bag provides a considerable amount more resistance building more strength in your punches. I highly recommend both sizes. Some people have expressed concern over the latex bladder leaking down more frequently than the traditional rubber. I have not found this to be an issue at all.

  • I loved tuning up the speed bag to no end! Not only a great stress relief on top of several physical benefits, but it looks incredible too, also a great conversation and friendship starter. I first started practicing when I was helping to open and care for a small gym right next to my barracks on Helemano military reservation in Hawaii, back in 1989. Practiced for hours on end and after a few weeks this insurance salesman walked in and gave me a few pointers, come to find out he was an ex-army golden gloves boxer. After that and a few more weeks I had that 10" Everlast going like lightning. I could go for a good 40 minutes without a miss or a break. People would come into the gym just to sit down and watch me. Over the years I've had countless people ask me to teach them how to hit the bag. When in training before my unit went to Iraq, I haven't hit the bag for years, but gave it a shot and it was like falling off a bike. Some of the younger soldiers started chanting "Old School! Old School!". That became my new nick name. Even had a federal prison guard tell me he'd never want to come across me in a dark alley. God its been a good 18 years at least since I've used the bag and I miss it sooooo much. I want to set one up so badly but my neighbors are like 15 feet away and the nearest bag I know of is at a navy base gym and I don't have a retired ID to get on base. Yeah that bag is hella fun to use! I had no clue there were people that could hit the bag like these. That is just totally awe inspiring and amazing to watch. Drives me to wanting to find a bag even more. Thanks for the upload and for posting it on my birthday! Not relevant, but I stopped at a bike path crossing once in Bristol RI and I'll be damned if Jimmy Paz himself didn't ride right past me on his bike.

  • Speed bagging feels really fun when coming to having a whole boxing ring, training, and boxing sport. Even with a punching bag I feel like punching both on both terms of learning off these proper videos.❤

  • My first try on the speed bag was a little more than a year ago at my sisters Rock steady boxing gym for parkinsons (sp) disease, I am her cornerman. I have years of training with Temple Kung Fu under grand master Simon, for physical therapy in Seattle Washington area, very good stuff. A little bit of KravMaga in anchorage alaska, more good stuff. I never trained in regular boxing before, having a great time with the speed bag, very satisfying

    • Why scream at everyone. Most already know, the Pro boxers don't play the bag. That said I do, I used to be a boxing official for USA boxing, still have my card. I,m an old man but in my younger years I had sparred with High ranked heavy weights. Just to mess around as I never would have been a contender, way to much talent out there. :) Give playing the bag a try you will have some fun with it.
