  • I purchased both the medium kzhead.infoUgkxfh2XUOHWYHKQYOvSq2gZ6PyCmVkTFGWz and small speed bags from Meister. I'm very glad I got both as the workout is quite different from the two. The small is fantastic for getting your speed built up once familiar with your striking. The medium bag provides a considerable amount more resistance building more strength in your punches. I highly recommend both sizes. Some people have expressed concern over the latex bladder leaking down more frequently than the traditional rubber. I have not found this to be an issue at all.

People think you have to be FAST when hitting the Speed Bag, because of the Name of this equipment, SPEED (fast) BAG ... Learning this Boxing tool is easier when you take it Slow and Easy.... Our Egos especially with young men is so fragile that if they can't go fast the first day, then they stay away from this Punching Bag, and find something else to work on ! Seen this happen many times.... I just like to remind them to stick with it and it gets easier as give it a little time ! I sincerely appreciate you * Paul D'Antuono

    • 254JROCK * * * * * Thank You for Watching and for the Great Comment * In a Boxing Gym we find the EGO MINDSET and that is Mostly O.K. ! Some fighters shy away from the SPEED BAG because it's not always easy to progress to a level that we can be PROUD OF * Every one wants to go Fast on the Speed Bag because of the name of the equipment SPEED/FAST BAG ... I have always taught fighters to put their Ego away, take the speed bag slow with humility... You don't have t o be as GOOD/FAST as the next guy, just take it slow learn it well by making your goal to just be better than you were YESTERDAY ! I truly don't think that Famous saying Originated with Jordan Peterson, he just took what for some was good common sense, and put it in front of the World .. I been saying this long before I heard of Petterson.... I truly Appreciate the Compliment, and I Appreciated You ! Paulie D' The Punch Professor

Reason being that he just wanted to make sure I was pushing my shoulder endurance. He did encourage watching him hit speed bag and asking about other techniques and watching instructionals on different speed bag tricks if I really wanted to learn the fancier stuff though. • You are one of the better teachers for hitting the speed bag, you keep it simple and explain the moves so anyone can understand. I've been hitting the speed bag for a few years, but only with the same basic moves. Now after watching you I am going to learn the other techniques you're teaching in this video. I just tried the front and back, and also the double punch, what a disaster, seems like I'm starting all over from the beginning. But this makes it fun, and I love to watch you hit the bag. I'm 72 yrs old, and I enjoy the workout. Thank you for sharing with us. God Bless, and keep the videos coming. I also live in Florida, love it here, originally from NJ.

  • Great video! Short, to the point, simple instruction. I like that some teachers break down some things with a good amount of detail. His explanations weren't to much and weren't to little. With learning you don't want a mind that to lax or a mind that's to excited. I understood very clearly. Nice piece of teaching.

  • Very good comprehensive breakdown of the mechanics and concepts that makes each bag reaction happen properly. Your condensed version is great. It isn't overly repetitive and gives all the needed information. I finally go a speed bag after years of not bag training, and when i tried linking, I thought I may be doing it wrong since it was easier when hitting it lower than normal. Thanks for clarifying. At least I can be sure now that I was right and should not tey adjusting to hit it higher when linking. With video, there's rewind option, so no need for being extremely repetitive like when running a live in person class where you actually need to repeat words to students. Perfect job done sir. Channel followed.
