A Classic sketch from the Two Ronnies

Пікірлер
  • I remember vividly when this first went out. It seemed the whole nation watched it. Everyone tried speaking in sentences consisting entirely of letters, people you didn't know did it in shops and cafes. The Two Ronnies were adored. Ronnie Barker wrote much of the wordplay material and the two together created hundreds of brilliant characterisations that you understood in just a few seconds and then played their parts with perfect comedic timing. Genius.

  • Someone had sent me the Hearing Aids Salesman episode via WhatsApp about a year or so ago. I loved it so much that I saw almost all of their skits in KZhead. This one - the Swedish Lesson - cheered up a dull day. Here's my tribute to these two timeless masters of comedy: The Two Ronnies, Barker and Corbett Were in every way brilliant and perfect Their wordplay and irreverence Seasoned with ribald insouciance Made life more bearable on this planet
