Is there discount tickets? Any season is okay or do you prefer certain time of the year. Thanks for the information.

i took the eurostar to Paris, as an american it is so embarrassing to see how wonderful, smooth and FAST Europes trains are compared to our jerky, broken, old and slow rail travel. I just took a 2 day trip from San Francisco to Chicago for fun and it was like being in a major earthquake the whole way.
I wish to visit Amsterdam❤️❤️❤️
That is nothing compared to trains in Africa 🙄
@@tillymalone5322 they really are something else lol
so are in India.
USA is very backward in many ways but they almost never travel or realise it.
This will be me in a few month's time, can't wait!
And me!
Mine too 🎉😅😅
Thanks a lot … opens up a load of possibilities - so much more civilised v flying - especially impressed with just walking off on arrival !
Yeah but flying is faster and cheaper. £50 return and hour flying.
Whilst this is true about the plane being faster and cheaper... the ease of security, baggage allowance (if any), being able to bring your own food, alcoholic beverages, all your toiletries and what not (literally almost anything with no restrictions), no customs upon arrival, in my honest opinion, outweighs me flying. I'd personally choose Eurostar to travel to the Netherlands over flying everytime x
@@JxGx__ Hi Jay. Absolutely agree - convenience and seamless mess rules !
@@JxGx__ Spot on.
@@JxGx__ ,
This is better then a plane……..you see more and the seats are better !
much much better!!
Come the day, I’ll be riding the train, pass by that man in seat 61, doff my hat, and continue on. There’s a fellow well met and good day to you, sir.
Good to see you back again!
Im in a relaxed state just riding along with you. My goal is to go on every trip . What an amazing way to make a living. Keep those videos coming.😻
Love the way your videos are done. Thank you.
Beautiful stations at both ends of the journey. Fast, peaceful ride and so much better than flying - and with travel to/from airport factored in it’s probably faster. Great video.
Exactly ! I agree ! Thanks for Your friendly and touching words ! Wishing You cozy , prosperous , chic and fantastic evening ! No disappointments ✓
Haha, the best is arriving at Amsterdam central, which building, at the end, looks just almost like St Pancras at the very beginning!
This was fun. i traveled by train all over Europe as an American student in the early 1970's. Loved it. But how it's changed! i have the impression that Europe has made much more progress than has the USA in the intervening years. I'm h happy for people there.... but wonder what our leaders are doing. Thanks for uploading this great video.
Thank you so much Seat 61 man. Fantastically helpful. I am taking this journey early May 2023. Looks good.
Me too:)
That’s great! Actually you get get a discounted ticket by using railcard! Do you know Railcard?
Great to see you back on the rails, and in seat 61 and looking forward to more journeys in the future 🙂👍🚄🚅
Thank you for this upload. Informative, educational and enjoyable !
This is just a great service. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the ride ... good job !!!
What a great train ride! Such a relaxing way to travel!
Thank you for sharing your travel.
Glad to see you're back on track.
Can't wait to get back onboard, I did this journey in December 2019, had to use Thalys on the return, changing onto Eurostar at Brussels Midi. Got a trip planned in the summer to Czech Republic. Incidentally I dropped into Trainworld in Schaerbeek on my back to the UK from southern Poland, deffo worth a visit 100%
Note that it's some sometimes cheaper to buy a ticket to amsterdam than lille, so if you are going there check the amsterdam ticket price and if it is cheaper buy that and then just leave the train at lille...no one checks on exit.
thank you for showing how it is outside the trainstation
Very cool. Thanks for posting. 👍👍🇦🇺
I did this journey in late 2021 and enjoyed the change from flying. I did it for the exploration and views but the best thing is that the train will drop you off in central Amsterdam! (a few minutes walk to your nearest cafe 😁).
Beautiful,. peaceful journey
Great coverage. Wonderful view. Wish both London station and Amsterdam stations covered. Train interior pl. Doing a great work. Train lovers treat
Thank you for this video. Very informative.
Mark, great to see you are back on KZhead, please keep producing this excellent content !!
No formalities on arrival- the best part of train journey
Yes, re Immigration/passports, on arrival at London St Pancras or on arrival at Amsterdam. But remember on arrival, there are Dutch or UK Customs..!!
thanks for your video, it helped us a lot! thanks from Brazil!
thanx for sharing
It's a beautiful train!
Love this video 👍👍👍❤️
Awesome trip and beautiful scenary in train
Love your videos. I get to travel while sitting in my lounge room. Now a new subscriber. Thankyou.
Great vídeo once more. Got to the eurostar on my next trip. Thanks!
Amazing, in just over 2h to Brussles, in just over 4h to Cologne! 😍
Train cabin looks fantastic. Indian Railways should manufacture such spacious compartments in coming years. Congrats from India
I took the Eurostar to Paris and also to Lille. I love it. I went on the train when it first started operating.
This is cool and have never done this one!! Merci .
Thanks for sharing your trip. Hope I would be able to ride on Eurostar in the near future.
It was a bliss watching this video. 👍🏻
Loved seeing from the train view. I miss traveling in Europe by train. Hopefully life will get back to normal soon. I’m from Texas in the US.
I took this train 2 day ago form Lonon to Midi Bxl I was really happy how smooth train goes and how fast WOW
I hope to travel on this one day,it looks amazing.
Excellent can’t wait in August
These videos will really help a lot of peoples travel anxiety :)
Thanks for sharing.
Great video !!
I've got to do this journey next month. Great video
Hi morning That's good information given pl I Like it , Thanks From Kampala Uganda 🇺🇬🙏🌹
Awesome video! Last year, I rode the Eurostar from Paris to London in Standard Premier class. It was unforgettable.
Thank for uploading this, Eur a star.
LOL, I see what you did there 😂
wow It's my first time to know that ,Thanks
Hello mr 61 and very good content with very good presentation thanks and cheerio
Thanks for shooting this. Nice touch to mention the ICE connection. This settles a debate with my partner on how to get to Amsterdam!
A well made and enjoyable video. I will certainly consider travelling to Amsterdam or Rotterdam by Eurostar, as it will make a change from flying.
I’ve stay at The Renaissance St Pancras. It’s stunning and so is the train station. The next time I come, I’m taking the train to Amsterdam and on the way back, stopping in Brussels.
OMG THAT PINK SUPERCAR IS ALWAYS PARKED THERE!!!!! I went past there last year in November and it was there!
Nice coverage
Love your trips! From here in Chicagoland….
Wow beautiful journey. Thanks for sharing this video .It give me guide to travel Amsterdam in the future. It's a dream travel to a beautiful country like Amsterdam.
(Psssst.... Amsterdam is not a country.)
Yeah..I'm mean Netherlands
Try to educate yourself before visiting .
Eurostar is a great product and became even better with the velaro trains. Business premier is one of the best ways to travel in Europe.
Thalys first class is the best train experience with 3 course meal & drinks
Thanks heaps 💖 good option as we plan to visit Rotterdam from London in sept or Oct.
Excelents train London and Amsterdam nice thanks you👌👌👌👍👍👍👍🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺
Thanks for posting this. The last time we were at Amsterdam Central it was a construction site. It looks great now.

Very nice train service.
Great view of trip wish you the best from Croatia. 🇪🇺🇭🇷
I wondered if it would be seat 61 and was not disappointed!
Major train stations in Europe are amazing!
Would've loved to take it for an upcoming trip but the fares in standard were double the price of a flight. It seems that this route is only competitively priced if you book quite far in advance, the tunnel definitely needs some competition.
It could have been Deutsche Bahn with their ICE 3 (same model, though shorter trainsets) had not been for pandemic.
As good as this is I still do like the sophisticated overnight rail and sail to Amsterdam via Harwich.
best way into the continent
woow Amazing.
I live near Dover, but to get the Eurostar I have to travel up to london on HS1, only to come all the way back again, just to get into the tunnel. Apparenty, Ashford 'International' Station isn't actually 'International'. Crazy. Excellent Video by the way :)
Super video! Nice train ride! Good work! Thumbs Up 🚆🚂🚄👍😉 Greetings from Romania Andrew
Yes , definitely a Masterpiece ! No less ! Thanks dear Friend !
Beautiful 💜💜💜💜 Beautiful 💘💘💘💘 Beautiful ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Great trip. To be honest, I miss the sail rail trip. Hope in the future you can make it, sir. Especially for trip which isn't included in this channel yet.
excellent
I LOVE riding Eurostar.
Nice
I am considering the journey in the opposite direction Spring 2023. Many thanks!
gosh! not only quite sufficiently informative, but also: no hype, no muzak, no vuzak...... excellent signal-to-noise ratio, a rarity indeed these days. well dne! and thank you!
I have referenced the website on numerous occasions. As a result, we have taken trains from Athens to Thessaloniki, and Geneva-Paris-London. Also planned London-Bordeaux, cancelled due to COVID. Many thanks tp The Man in Seat 61! Otherwise couldn't plan reliably from Australia.
If these stop at Ebbsfleet in the future I'd be all over it.
Will do it this way on my next London visit, this is a bargain compared to other methods of travel. Did the London-Paris train trip in 1998 and loved it, so this one is a must. Thanks for the great video!
LOL 😂when the baby started to cry at 2:57 the gentleman put on his headphone.
Amsterdam my dream destination.
Cheers for this I'm planning a trip to Middelburg and was think of doing this route instead of Harwich to the Hook of Holland ferry which seems more complicated
Really appreciate your video it was very interesting
I was looking for the opposite direction Amsterdam to London. But your video still gave me a lot of information I'm heading to the Netherlands for 2 weeks in September hopefully and I'm just trying to figure out if I want to see any other European cities and what's the best way to get there I'm going to go through a lot more videos of yours thanks appreciate the info
for the netherlands almost everything is reachable with trains busses or taxis (or bicycles because we also have a lot of those XD) i don't know anything about the other country.
Well done 👍
It's a very beautiful place. nice to travel
Blimey, you walk fast! 😂
Hope to get a chance to travel in this train
And there is a wonderful Champagne bar where you can watch the trains coming and going. I went 1st class because I wanted to have a meal both ways.
Bet you are not a cheap date!
With all The chaos going on at the airports rite now. Such a better option this is!
Yes. The train takes you downtown to downtown, which saves the long journey to and from the airports. You also do not have to wait for your bags after arriving at your destination, which is another frustrating aspect of air travel.
How long before departure would you recommended arriving at the station? How long does check in actually take.
Seat 61 !
It must have been nice to sit in seat 61 again.
