  • Her stories were so amazing and horrifying and captivating all at the same time. Everyone was so quiet listening to what she had to say. This episode is one of my favorites. I know Conan was enjoying the history she was sharing with them.

  • The sad thing about #metoo is how pretty much EVERY woman in the industry has stories like this, ESPECIALLY from those generations. These stories need to be shared. These men need to be called out. I’m so thankful for someone like Goldie being willing to share her experiences.

    • The WORLDS women of this generation have ALL experienced abuse of some sort or other. There was NEVER any RESPECT. And fra kly in most cultures THERE STILL ISNT ANY.     • She’s probably dealt with the trauma through healthy outlets already, she’s old af. But also, many women back then, this wasn’t exactly acceptable behavior, but it was very common and public

    • I read her autobiography Lotus Flower almost twenty years ago. She has done a lot of mental and spiritual work in her life time to find her own peace, so her clarity and calm in this storytelling is not really surprising to me. I understand, though, how shocking it is to hear so much trauma being discussed in such a steady, calm way.

  • She’s no nonsense. I remember I was in high school I was watching an interview 20/20? and Goldie and interviewer were standing on a beach. She said her dad told her, if you ever get too big for your britches, you should take a look out there and see how small we all are.

  • I have always loved Goldie. My favorite movie that she starred inis Oerboard. She and Curt were both so good in that. It had everything , humor, romance, suspence and no one could have played the part better than Goldie. I guess she showed those creeps that tried at her, some young females have the ambition to fulfill their dreams and do it without lowering themselves with nasty men. She told her story in such an honest and fascinating way, and I too appreciate Conan not interupting her. Great job, all of you. I am so proud of Goldies strength and integrity at such a young age.

  • Big fan of Goldie Hawn, and the fact that she became her own producer, worked for herself, answered to no one, that is how she made it on her own, in her own way, no casting couch with some greasy man that controls what you want and will use you. I say way to go Goldie, you made it big and you did it with ethics and integrity. Also raised two wonderful children, and made a great decision when choosing Kurt to be the one man to trust. And the rest is history.

  • I don't doubt a single word Goldie speaks here. She was probably inundated with salaciousness and duplicity for 2 decades because of how beautiful and portrayed as a blonde airhead she was. Talent doesn't need to take the easy way onto the stage. I can't even picture this Lady on the casting couch... She's a treasure because of who she is. Edit this out: Please, no more face work.
