Great guy, fantastic bond. Took JB back to his roots, a disturbed and deeply troubled character with conflicting emotions. Touché to him, played the original Bond to the novels. And portrayed him brilliantly on screen. We should be thankful he brought bond back to the forefront. Hats off to him.

@@qchang09I mean let’s not beat around the bush, Craig is still an Omega ambassador and I’m sure in his contract he can’t be promoting Rolex watches. He has plenty of very special vintage Rolex pieces and even has a Submariner 6538 that Barbara Broccoli gifted him. On a Connery nato at that. Also has a Paul Newman 6263 Daytona. Another great and very noteworthy vintage piece. Also has a custom Submariner project X which is super rare and cool. My point is he has plenty of watches outside of omega to talk about.

I love that Daniel Craig shows his passion for his collection of Omega. Proud to be their ambassador and wish he will be forever even after the Bond era. I love that he talks every watch that reminds him his personal memories that we never know!

My favourite thing about this was that Daniel seems completely down to earth. With the amount of fame and money he’s had i can only imagine how easy it would be to get lost in the clouds. But he sounds like he still has a great concept of the value of things
I think all of the Bonds were like that. Connery was definitely a bit of an outlier amongst them for his brashness and confidence, and not in a bad way, but in general I think it is just part of the British mentality to be humble.

He’s an actors actor. Think Christian Bale. He loved to act but hates the fame that comes with it. He’s know to hide himself in public by always wearing a hat and sunglasses and even growing his beard and hair out when not on a film. He’s also known to not be a fan of interviews for film promotion and doing many red carpet events. Usually just what he’s contractually obligated to do. Here he’s having fun because he loves watches and you can tell he enjoys talking them. He’s also known to enjoy fans who are very kind and more of the soft spoken type. He doesn’t like people who draw attention to him or themselves and I can understand that. He does seem like a genuinely nice guy though.
Hearing him giggle about the memomatic is wonderful! You can tell he truly is invested in the history and peculiarities of the watches he chose!

Wow had no idea Daniel Craig collected vintage Omega. These are some really cool pieces and you can tell he has a lot of passion. I want to see the rest of his collection, I wonder if he collects any other brands?

Really is as they say eh, Omega Ambassadors are chosen based on actually having a connection and passion for the brand. I would have loved if my dad gave me a vintage omega as a kid! Definitely, I was surprised that a Speedy Tuesday 1 was the first one featured here! All brushed case, reverse panda design, and awesome lume on this limited edition of 2012 pieces from 2017. Great catch!

I was shocked to see he actually had to purchase many of them.
Despite what people think, actors don't get them for free. If a watch brand is associated with a film the cast and crew usually get a discount. (Hamilton give 40%, Omega 30%). When a watch brand picks an actor to be an Ambassador for them they usually pick actors who already wear their brand. (I work for a tv/film production company that's how I know)

I was so excited to see that for the first speedmaster shown daniel chose the nato strap with exactly the same color pattern as the one bond wears in goldfinger - I myself have the same nato strap for my hamilton field matt black
kudos also for using a nato that's ~2mm narrower than the lug spacing. a discerning bond fan knows to let the spring bars show. pure class.

As a 300M owner, I can fully endorse Omega and Daniel’s desire to own and care for them. They are extraordinary timepieces and thankfully don’t draw the attention Rolex does.
Loved Daniel's obviously passion for classic watches ⌚ interesting to hear the background to his collection.
Why is this so short? You had a rare opportunity to bring in Craig and discuss his watches, this should have been at least 20 minutes. You can clearly tell a lot of the footage was cut.
