People of Nature - a visual feast of global culture.
A video showing some of the people who live their lives immersed in the natural world, living by hunting, fishing foraging and herding. We visit Africa, Asia, Siberia, and the Middle East in search of humans who still live outside of the high-tech, high-industry, high-stress world that most of us inhabit.
So take some time out yourself, and watch and enjoy.
These are all people we have met along the way, over fifteen years studying the architectures of nomadic and nature dwelling people. We were not really there to record their lives, but you cannot separate living from building in these cultures, and you ask us so many questions about the people, questions we cannot always answer.
They Include the Hadzabe, San, Bakka, Bajo, Mursi, Arbore, Dassenetch, Nenet, Komi, Khanty, Shahsavan, Hamer, Afar, Kyrgyz, Drokpa to name a few. Can you find any more here?

Maybe you can tell, because you have spend some time with those tribes which had only a little contact with outside world (I mean nomads). I wonder what things they talk about daily, when they can't talk about things of outside world (if they don't have even a radio) - outside of talks of daily tasks, and some verbal entertainment?
Great question. I always go with a translator. Most of them do their job well enough, until the tribe/family get into a heated debate about something and completely forget I am there!!! What always amazes me is that when they are resting people are constantly talking. When I ask what about (and I often dont), I get several different sorts of answers. As they are moving, they sometimes remember stories of the route, say the ice river crossing where they fell through the ice because they had just got a snowmobile and did not realise how heavy it would be and were only saved by their fluffy skin clothes. This story must of course be told every time they come to this river! Sometimes people are talking about someone in a distant group who had an animal with a sickness that they did not recognize, often they are talking about their wide network of family, and when I was in Tibet ALL the talk was about the Chinese forcing them to settle and divide the land and how they were going to do this fairly.
When I was living with the Pala'wan in southern Palawan, Philippines. They talked about daily matters like what has to be done and who best could do it. About the children, the aged. And about the treath mining is doing to their environment and so endangering their future. They are happy with their lifestyle. And they're aware of the need of environmental protection.

No matter where we are in this world....we can see people helping each other. Building houses together, herding their animals together, gathering firewood or water together. In conclusion: We are born to help each other. And it feels good too to help in whatever form we can help. 🥰

U are right✔
Let's respect them and their culture
It is sad to witness the destructive forces from mining, global warming, cutting down of forests, the loss of their respective lifestyles. Their knowledge about nature and how to survive in it should be preserved. But it appears to be an uphill fight the poor are losing. Every day a little more. Your documentaries are valuable. A testimony that many of those indigenous peoples are still surviving in their respective environment.

Great job. Thank you for your hard work.

I plan on adding your content to my four young children's homeschool curriculum. We live a comfortable middle class lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest USA. I want them to appreciate all they have and recognize how wealthy they are when compared to major portions of the world.
That makes me very happy. Mine have been with me on some of the trips. However do point out that for many of these people wealth is measured in the number of goats, wives and children, and actually over grazing, domestic abuse and over population is driving a lot of the hardship. Some really interesting/challenging topics to explore here depending on the age of your children.
