Only the single player mode is immune to wipes. Not your main online account. Regardless, announcing more paid DLC, when the game isnt finished.. THEN TELLING PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT EoD FOR "ALL SUBSEQUENT DLCS FOR FREE" they have to pay for singlep layer.... is disgusting and actually ILLEGAL...

I think in about 2019 they said they would get rid of the "editions." Well, it's been half a decade since then, and not only have they not gotten rid of the Editions, they're adding MORE of them for MORE money... Why? Because their profit model is based around getting the same players to buy the game multiple times for a higher and higher price because they're P2W and they're at a disadvantage... They HAVE ALWAYS been Pay2Win no matter what any fanboy says, because they're lying to themselves. P2W does not mean Pay to Automatically Win. It's pay for in-game advantages, as ANY rational person would agree. Doesn't matter that you can lose them. Doesn't matter that a month after wipe it might seem obsolete. The fact of the matter is, you pay more money, you get better things. Not to MENTION storage space. Tarkov players let them get away w/ pretending like they're simply REWARDING you for paying a little extra to "support the development!" but ANYBODY who has played the Standard version of the game knows that you're made to feel PUNISHED for NOT spending $110. ($250 now) The people playing Tarkov still have already payed $110 for the game. Why work on the game and try to attract new players when you can just get the same idiots who will defend you till the end to pay ANOTHER $140 to not feel like they're at a disadvantage to other veteran players. Unfortunately, they were never heroes. Years ago when I joined this community they were already doing some tom f*c*ery, nothing really changed from that time to now. To be honest from the moment this sh*t show started I was not surprised, since all of this is long overdue due to BSG's past, it actually took far more time than I expected it would happen.

I imagine in a couple of years time, when Escape from Tarkov reaches the milestone of being in early access for 10 fucking years, Battlestate Games will announce the release of the 'Bend Over: Here it comes again' edition. They are terrified of giving a single player gamemode to everyone for one reason. Casual players and people fed up with cheaters will play it exclusively and player counts will plummet on the "normal" PvP side.

you made a great video but just one thing. The no wipe thing only affects the single player version. Still scummy how they are selling a single player mode for 250 dollars (plus tax).
Just one little correction, PVP mode will still be wiped, PVE is being separated from PVP

There are currently TWO "Escape for Tarkov" esque games that I would strongly recommend people play instead: STALKER Gamma and Zero Sievert. Those are the two BEST Tarkov-esque games out there right now, and I HIGHLY recommend them. I'd also recommend keeping an eye on Marauders' development too, as that game has A TON of potential to be great once it leaves Early Access.
Incursion Red River... is more escape from tarkov than stalker gamma and zero sievert

@@Mukuta_Pavlov if you played contract wars and hired ops you can easily get the picture same system except with open world elements as well as expanded skills and perks along with contracts and w-tasks are replaced by side quests and whatsoever but when its compared to stalker its a bit different theres no sci-fi elements mutants, anomalies as well as stuff like gauss rifle, seva suit, exoskeleton beryl armor and stuff like that however eft ai is just as good as stalker but its also that wonky as well sometime they have moment of stupidity sometimes a moment competence in conclusion stalker is stalker but eft or russia 2028 in general is stalker but without sci-fi stuff and stalker thats the best way i can describe it
@@Ghost_Warrior1789 thank you. I just played stalker for so long that I often forget that it has anomalies. Now I get why I feel other shooters lack something. And you are right about sci-fi in eft. I saw it has a lot of modern weapons and stuff but nothing sci-fi. If you treat artifacts and some mutants as sci-fi things you can probably even say that stalker is semi-sci-fi shooter. AI is something that is compared often, and I know eft ai is good so it technically makes them more similar rather than different. As I said I agree with you. I also realised the way I play stalker now is very similar to eft. I don't use sci-fi stuff like gauss, exoskeleton, artifacts, I memorised all locations of all anomalies so they are more like an invisible wall now not a threat, and I use some mods that bring elements from tarkov. Should I just try out eft? I don't really like most pvp games but I found out it has pve mode.

Just wondering, could we get a class action lawsuit? I feel like I was sold a product that isn't providing what it said. Yes, I have the Edge of Darkness bundle but I haven't played in a while because I am waiting for the game to get finished and something is done about the cheaters.

I'm excited about Gray Zone getting better. I'm glad Incursion is available. It's crazy that I no longer need the SPT Mod for EFT because Incursion is pretty spot on and seems to be getting updates regularly.

It would've made since for all the EOD owners to get this Unheard Edition automatically while enticing even further the players who haven't made the upgrade to upgrade, even though it's still crazy to pay $140 for a game.
With all the hackers it seems this game was dying anyway. So the are last second cash grabbing their way out. I am willing to give this 3 years before the game goes dark.
Me and my son jaws drop when we heard the price of the unheard edition price is USD250 because when converted to our country currencies it is MYR1,192.75!! That is a month salary for most low-income folks over here.
the fuckers took down the Nexus mods page for Tarkov mods, and with the influx of players not looking to shell out 250 bucks to a bunch of russian scammers for a PvE mode, the SPT website basically slowed down to a crawl.
The PVE mode has persistent progression throughout wipes. The main game will still wipe…
The wipe immunity is only applied to your PvE character, which is completely separately form the PvP (normal game)
And I also have played a bunch of SPT. I like the mods but one thing this has that that doesnt is being able to play CO-OP which to be honest is sick

If Incursion: Red River (which i bought a copy of) and Gray Zone pop off big time, BSG should be super scared. I will say when Incursion gets it's first big update and more people start playing the game, it may very well start impacting Tarkov HARD. In a recent update the current map has been updated with more enemies being spawned with a chance of a enemy Patrol (from my time playing usually around 6 - 8 guys) to be on the map. I would like to see the Incursion Devs add some more SMGs like the UMP 45, MP7, PP-19 Bizon and PP- 19 Vityza (I love using the classic and old reliable MP5 along with a Short Barrel M4A1)

BSG already broke their word a long long time ago. Advertising their game to be the "ultimate combat simulation", which is why me and friends of mine got into the game in the first place in 2017/18. We spend so much time on the forums making suggestions, writing super in-depth posts, brainstorming in private together on how to improve the game and make it more realistic and more into that "ultimate combat simulation", because we just didn't see BSG progressing into that direction anymore, but rather just sell out to streamers and the casual crowd. All these hour we spend making videos and write-up and whatnot, all gone ignored by BSG.
Refused to buy tarkov. The cheaters and the company itself are just not good. Waste of money.

Thank you, and please keep spreading the word! I'm new to Tarkov - about 2 months only - but the way the company runs its business is beyond stinky. Selling parts of game that shoud have been included in regular game for full price? Selling Premium editions for game that's in beta for 8 years? Disabling that premium edition so the buyers CANNOT get the arena with the game anymore? Not to mention their attitude towards cheaters --- they actually allow it, to ban them and sell another copies. Its so blatantly scammy, I'm downloading SPT now and forgetting about online.
I am an avid tarkov player, I love the game, I didn’t have the money to buy eod so I have to deal with problems such as super limited stash space, and a small container, I often have to vendor half the gear I get from pvp because I cant fit it in my stash. I would love to play gray zone, but the pvp is so rare that ot doesn’t give me the rush tarkov does, and I hope bsg can fix this issue they have created and regain the community’s trust. I want to continue to love this game.
Sounds like grounds for a class action for everybody who got the original 150$ version. Even simple updates and patches could be considered to be "DLC" meaning "Downloadable content". What they are doing with the new 250$ version is insane. I'd consider it breach of contract. I can imagine a jury would too, if the company wouldn't be willing to settle. I was eyeballing this game for many years. Been too busy with other stuff in my life and never got to it. Now I won't even consider it.
With all of the hackers in EFT, I don't want to even try it again. I've enjoyed IRR, but I'm waiting for a few updates. It's the only game that's caused my PC to blue screen and shutdown on its own. I have a monster PC too, 4090, etc.
Ghosts of Tabor is a really good Tarkov-like extraction shooter for vr as well. Its $30 atm and the DLC's are like $15-$20
Battlestate Games doing this to themselves is the single best thing that could have possibly happened to Gray Zone Warfare besides all the good press it's been getting after the last content creator playtest.

I'm enjoying Incursion and looking forward to seeing how it develops. I'm hoping that Grey Zone will have a dedicated coop pve mode too. What Battlestate games has done is a complete disgrace and beyond repugnant.

I have nearly 4000 hours in the game and loved it for years. This just goes to far for my personal taste. I deleted the game and i dont plan on playing the next wipe (First skip in like 7-8 wipes). Im not even mad, im just sad man :S

I'm also an EoD owner, and I haven't logged into the game in probably 3 years. I refuse to play it anymore. The devs are crooks, their game is controlled by cheaters, and their server issues have never been resolved since day one. Now they wanna charge people $240 for coop and wipe immunity? Sounds about right...
PvE should have either been free or not made at all. Locking it behind a $250 version of the game after pushing back against PvE for years just feels like an "f-u, pay me more money if you want PvE" It actually feels malicious with how they're even going so far as to say it doesn't fall under being DLC so even EOD supporters don't get access to it.
