"Incursion Red River" is a tactical cooperative extraction shooter set in a destabilized Vietnam engulfed in civil war and chaos. Players assume the role of contractors working for private military organizations that exploit the country's tumultuous state for profit. The game's backdrop involves Vietnam's historical defense against American forces with Soviet support, its prosperity, and subsequent vulnerability post-Soviet Union collapse. This leads to a geopolitical shift, exacerbated by Chinese interests and a covert conflict between the US and China, ultimately resulting in Vietnam's societal collapse and the rise of lawlessness driven by profit-seeking PMCs and militias. Gameplay involves teaming up with friends to complete contracts, purchase weapons and gear, and strategize with customized equipment for tactical advantages. SPT Staff here, We have no idea on what to do besides continuing on with the project as long as there is a community that wants it, BSG doesn't want to talk when we try to reach, they never reached to us. We basically sit on the aspect that we all love the game, not necessarily the company, while we have nothing against them and are against any attempt on users to harass others who are against us for some reason, on the other side any mention of us on their lands will get you banned from the discord. As far as it goes, never in our entire project life was anyone banned in live EFT from playing this, including staff and developers. The only issue we have is they striking youtube and twitch users, even though we strongly push for people to have an official copy bought for SPT and banning users the instant we see they have a pirated copy, besides that SPT carries anti-piracy measures. We are sorry for your strike Bluedrake, and if you need any help in the future feel free to contact us on the discord.
Appreciate you guys, and I've never held anything against you all. Love what you all have created, and I hope people still play your mod even if BSG doesn't want them to.

SPT is the best thing in EFT. Without SPT, EFT for me would be almost dead. I probably would play solo with AI from time to time even without progression just to have fun with weapon mechanics and character movement mechanics but nothing more. With SPT many people can play as they want and mod things to their liking and have tons of fun. I freaking love SPT and mod comunity! (i did some moding for myself too. So much fun!)❤🔥

There is something very wrong that you could get in trouble just for showing recorded footage of playing a mod someone made. Why can BSG flag content creators for playing single player tarkov. I don't understand how that is considered illegal. Can someone explain to me in a ethnic and legal manner why they can do this?
Well the problem here is the fact that the game is actually just terrible. The fact he's comparing it to tarkov and promoting it is shitty. It's genuinely terrible, even for an alpha build. Terrible optimisation, total rip off inventory system and bots that act like black ops 2 bots.

yeah, being able to enjoy the game at your own pace, and not worrying about whether you get matched with people with 20k hours in the game is great.
Helldivers 2 and Warframe are my 2 most favorite games of all time.

agreed. I learned the maps, the extracts, the directions. do I feel like it added anything to the game? NO. it was/is just a big chore and a huge pain in the butt.
The offline aspect is good for practicing without much fear in prep for online. That's the main thing why I could never get into Tarkov. Its brutal right off the bat
So brutal that most turn to cheating instead of improving. They can say there isn't that many cheaters all that want, the stats don't lie .

I for one am very appreciative to have a single player extraction game.
To me, this might no be as big and known as tarkov, but just by the fact that it is in steam, it becomes TEN TIMES more affordable. Tarkov in my country costs around R$300,00 wich is insane considering our minimum wage is around R$1200,00. This game, on the other hand, costs R$40,00 in steam. I realy hope this game survives and receives more and more content. As a Stalker fan, single player shooters like this have a special place in my heart.

Some of us also do not have the time for PVP. If a game does not have single play its a hard pass. Good to see more solo tactical shooters as the market is just overly flooded with FPS PVP MMO's etc
I'm fine with PvP as long as the game isn't a bog to get through. Progression in EFT is honestly pretty trash, in game skill levels is mind boggling to me. Artifically giving an advantage to people who play more.
The big problem with EFT is the devs force you to PVP. Close spawns, gamers all want the kills etc... It rare to see people actually do the missions and cooperate. Its all about the most kills. EFT turned into a glorified deathmatch.
From time to time I replay the old Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter games as they stil hold up really well. I miss good milsim singleplayer games.

it's always the case for extraction shooter games. always online. sometimes I play it, but I wish this genre would get offline game it deserves and bcs I don't have so much time to sink to it since most of the time I was against people with better gear and more knowledgeable players which is made it hard to get into. and now here we are, I hope red river would get better by time

The thing is, GZW has online Co-op, well so does IRR, but it's also made for full SP sense, which I love. I think I'll use IRR to train myself and GZW for more realism (IRR did already a great job of making this game with just a few people, so props to them)

Just in the few hours i played this game, i can say that I really want to see where it goes and am excited for the concept of essentially a single-player/co-op tarkov inspired game. I definitely see more tarkov in this game than i have with other games dabbling in the extraction shooter genre. The AI feel way less robotic than tarkov AI and the movement feels and looks more natural for sure imo

i picked up the bundle with HD. I will support these devs and others like them everytime. I'm so done with the "online only" and the sweaty try-hards that destroy the fun everytime, well almost everytime.
I feel like Extraction style PVE really on works if the Ai in the game is crazy good and there's like an entire battalion of them in the zone your attempting to raid. A game i've been playing that gives me similar feelings to Tarkov, but its Single player/Offline, is The Anomaly mods, Modpack G.A.M.M.A, for S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadows of Chernobyl I wish it had Trakov's inventory management but its got the Guns - Gun attachments - Med systems - Traders. It has base building in the form of being able to place furniture in the game world. Its has Survival elements (Food Water Sleep). You have to turn on/off a couple mods in order to have Magazine management but its not to difficult. Its also entirely free to play, you don't even need to own STALKER SoC. It has difficulty settings to make it harder, you also have to contend with the environment from Zone wide storms, that will kill you if you don't find shelter. Radiation hotspots, Mutated animals, Enemy factions, and because its build off the mod anomaly mod you'll have to navigate through somewhat supernatural/Environmental traps that are littered throughout the world. Since the mods built for such an old game it has its quirks and can be really janky at times and can also seem really unfair. You have the option of just playing the game normally IE: making saves, when you die you reload that save, or you can Play in Ironman mode which allows you to limit the amount of times your allowed to die if you excede that number all of your saves from that playthrough are deleted. There's also a Soulslike option which instead of dying another Stalker takes you back to a safe location and you wake up at a spawn point that you can determine by sleeping in a bed. you get a bottle of water and loaf of bread and you keep whatever medkits you had in your inventory. You'll have no weapons or armor and you'll have to make the trek back to your body When your in the early stages of a play through your less likely to lose items but in the late stages you can lose Pieces of armor, or weapons med supplies etc. There's also the potential of being ambushed when you get back to your body. All of this is customizable. if it sounds interesting i recommend it, it can be fun and eat up a lot of time.
Arena Breakout (Mobile) has that loot derby event where you're provided with equipment by either paying a very little currency or exchanging a coupon, but when you extract you don't get anything so hearing it implemented into this one is kinda nice
I love SPT and I'm still waiting for Road to Vostok, I'll try this in the meantime.
I can understand why the Tarkov dev team (BSG) wish to concentrate solely on the multiplayer/PvP experience. But to actively take measures against people who wish to play their game in a solo/PvE method (like SPT) is just idiotic. It's not like stopping you will force everyone else who wishes to play solo/PvE to happily switch to online/PvP. They gain nothing but wasting your time and theirs. And, they lose a huge audience who would have been happy to buy and play their game as a modded solo/PvE experience. So, huge shoutout to Games of Tomorrow for creating Incursion: Red River to fill in the demand for a solo/co-op PvE extraction shooter, and looking forward to seeing it become a well-rounded, fully-featured hit. (And to the SPT team for creating that as well.)
P.S. I've been a huge fan since the release of the Project: Quarantine... err, demo? Proof of concept? Whatever it was, it has been a shining beacon in my hopes for a high-quality co-op extraction shooter. I snagged IRR the moment I noticed it was available as EA, and I can't wait to see how it develops.
Finally, the only extraction game I've been able to get into is zero seivert do to no having reliable internet. Also the setting just sounds neat.

I played that Tarkov mode but not for long as i didn't want to take the time to memorize all the maps, the learning curve of that game is huge. Played Cyber Hunter's Loot Lord mode for a while but servers are basically dead and you can't play it solo. Will try this one. Tbh. the fact these sorts of games are inventory management simulators is probably the reason why i started playing them. I suspect people who like these sorts of games might also like crafting games like Factorio, maybe Thief Simulator too-both pretty easy to get used to but Factorio doesn't take that much time to learn and get used to the game mechanics. So much that you could play through several smaller games by the time you start enjoying it.
looks decent, always wanted to play Tarkov but PVE only, however does this game have features like base expansion like getting certain upgrades for the base, except just expanding storage?
So basically Tarkov but I can chill and play realistically and not meta rush to rare loot, no cheaters, no cringy immersion breaking tan tanks running around with 98 attachments, no constant re-balancing because someone found an exploit, no streamers saying what the meta and balance should be, no extract campers, every update is about features and not about cheaters every time taking away from what it should have been... basically Tarkov minus the toxic community... sign me the f up rn.

I purchased this the other week, and i'm the same about just wanting to play solo or coop, I love the idea of extraction shooters but just don't like the PvP side. this game is enjoyable from what i've played so far and just hope they keep this going as they have done a great job so far.

Been playing it, made my own personal gamepad template cuz i gotta switch out inputs every once in a while due to hand injurirs. All it needs imo is proper controller support for people like me, which im sure is not a small population
That's interesting because Kean has been playing the singleplayer mod on Twitch with no issues and he even said that he talked to the main developer at BSG and he said it was fine as long as he didn't advertise the mod.

BlueDrake you should play Ghosts of Tabor if you have a vr headset! It’s an extraction shooter much like Escape from Tarkov. The guns have all the features you could wish for. The guns feel real in vr. I’m not a representative of the game but I highly recommend it!
I love SPT. And finally someone is actually making a game that is effectively SPT if it were it's own IP. I'm going to be following it's development closely. Although right now it's a little too bare bones for me in my opinion, if the developers keep with it, in time it'll come to rival Tarkov. Tarkov started off with just one map and not a lot of features and has grown significantly from those humble beginnings, so I hope the same thing happens with IRR.

picked this game up, fully recommend it and hope it gets updated, be warned it only has about 2-4 hours worth of content at the moment. but definitely has a solid foundation and with updates could be great.
Its still a surprise that it took someone this long to actually release a game like this. Been playing it for the past 3 hours and I'll be playing this a lot. The fact that this game has a difficulty setting, with a custom setting reminds me of Stalker ANOMALY. I just hope that the devs get some updates rolling and I wish them luck

I hated online gaming the day it was born. 100 % offline singleplaying is all I can enjoy, because I decide about the pacing and I do not want real people in my gaming sessions. Hopefully, developers and gaming people find the same bliss in SP as I do and there will be more SP games in the future.

You could play BF2 with some mods to make it look more like BFBC2 or BF3. :) BF2HD in particular is a standalone mod that makes BF2 look a lot like BFBC2.

the game looks great. If it runs well i'd be very insterrested in picking it up. The other thing that would have me instantly buy the game would be a big arsenal of different weapons. I'll keep an eye on this one

I am enjoying it, would like to be able to control the amount of AI that can spawn in but i hope the setting will come in time, it is cool how much control you got on the AI settings already so i can see it going far if they get the amount of funding still, and i very much hope they do.
In light of all the hubbub with EFT over a more better version (eye roll), I can definitely see folks flocking to Incursion. Unfortunately this is the first I have even heard of it. Hopefully more content makers will help get the word out, cuz Steam didn't even recommend to me. Best of luck guys!

When will controller support be available ? we downloaded the game from steam but unfortunatly had to uninstall as found it unplayable without an xbox controller, games like squad have controller support so it should be normal to have it in this type of game.

Will there be ping limits imposed? Biggest turn off from tarkov for me is not being able to play with my friends from across the world due to ping limits. I get people want the lowest ping possible to make the game run as smoothly as possible but for us casual players I’d be happy to sacrifice my ping for the ability to play with my friends no matter where in the world we all live. Maybe have an option to play in ping limited servers or open ping servers as a solution if there is a problem
I know that people probably already know about this but STALKER (the game that started this genre) is single player and the latest mod GAMMA is great, its a pain in the ass to install but if you want to get that top quality mil sim extraction shooter experience you cant go wrong with it.
Offline extract shooters would be a awsome concept alot if times I wish arena breakout would do this
Loving how the indie scene is creating games by gamers for gamers.
I feel like the main reason why i dont enjoy extraction shooters is that I'm pretty much forced to play against other players in some capacity and be forced to put up with the problems associated with it, every run feels like much more of a risk than it should be because either the prevalence of hackers in extraction shooters (namely EFT and The Cycle, back when that existed) or my internet becoming unstable and the game forcing me out because of the ping limit. Similar isues plagued COD DMZ (and especially Warzone), but runs weren't massive investments. I could easily loot back up to a _decent_ point if I were to lose my stuff, so I felt more comfortable even if I had to put up with the occasional hacker, DC, or just dying because I suck. I've always wanted a co-op extraction shooter where I can gather a squad of friends and not have to worry about any "BS" that might happen along the way, so I'll keep an eye on this game.

Dude I'm the same way. I love playing SPT, but I don't really enjoy the live game. Been looking for a good single player extraction shooter. I even started building my own version of Zero Sievert in Godot, but that is of course very slow going. This looks like it has what I want. I'll give it a go.

I feel the same! SPT is fun. I also love single player games where I can set my own pace and way of play also with moding. Added this game to my wishlist.
I think this game can potentially grow way faster since its engine choice wasn't made while under the influence of vodka and krokodil. It's already lightyears ahead of tarkov in some aspects since AI is more advanced than run around and lock onto a plauer on the other side of the wall while walking backwards.
Metal gear solid 5 is still one of those games that captures extraction shooters so well without actually being a extraction shooter. I can’t wait to put that down and give this Red River a ride.
as a competitive fps gamer, usually ontop of the scoreboard, its nice to just chill and not worry, playing against some AI not using every muscle in your brain.

I would like to see a Co-op extraction shooter with smart enough AI to make it engaging. Then you could play an extraction shooter with your friends without worrying about cheaters or server/net code issues.
