This is the Trust Gaming GXT 1160 Vero webcam and we show you what you can expect from it straight out of the box. We've tested it in different lighting scenarios and you can have a listen to what the microphone sounds like. All footage has been recorded using OBS and the manual configuration of the webcam was done in OBS too.

Great Video, nice review, showed us everything we needed to know about this very strange little webcam.. that bit where your lights reflected on to you, was bizarre.
Cheers buddy. Yeah that's not something i've experienced with any other webcam so far. I mean the webcam is cheap, it can be bought for less than £20 and it will look a little better than an inbuilt webcam, but it's one of those you get what you pay for :)
@@Andyhhhdx certainly, but at least we get to see the problems of certain very cheap webcams, before we decide to buy or not. y'know we need to see the really cheap stuff as well as middle of the road or very pricey stuff. some folks this cam might work for, occasional zoom use etc. and some might want to save up a bit more. its good you have a wide range of budgets for the tech to show us :)

Hello there, I hope you're well :) I am using OBS to test the webcam and you can access these options in there. Once you've made changes in there and if you need to use those settings for other software like Zoom or Teams for example, then you can enable the virtual cam option in OBS to pull your webcam into the other software with the changes you've made. Cheers buddy. Yeah it was pretty weird that my backlights were coming through onto my shirt. It should look better than an inbuilt webcam on a laptop but it's not great.
Would've prefered if you gave your opinion about this compared to other cheap webcams? I can't bother going through all the reviews of different models out there. And since you seem to test a lot of them... What's your conclusion?

We've just begun to release some side-by-side comparison tests with the Vero against similar priced webcams Vero vs Creative V2 - kzhead.info/sun/dLapoJSwbJ18l6s/bejne.html Trust Vero vs Trust Tyro - kzhead.info/sun/iZaTo6-tiJSvlYE/bejne.html Trust Vero vs Aukey PC-LM1E - kzhead.info/sun/YKV7YsiIjZmhoaM/bejne.html (Only available for channel members until next week) I think the Aukey PC-LM1E performs well. You will need to manually configure the saturation and white balance on it else it looks very dull, but it looks much more crisp than the Vero and the microphone is much better too.

Manual focus or Auto focus?
Hello buddy, I hope you're well. This has a fixed focus lens so you will need to be over 12 inches or so away for things to be in focus.
