  • I listened to this song when my kitten passed away. I remember when he used to nibble on my fingers, sleep beside me, sit in my lap. He was always so playful. Now every time I listen to this song, I think about him and *cry* I even cried on the bus listening to this song. That orange kitten was always on my mind, he always will.. I love you Sunny.

  • My interpretation of this song is that "Medicine" is the thoughts in life that make you forget the painful memories in your life. But those painful memories are actually what shape you into the person you are. So if you keep "taking" the medicine, you will lose sight of whats really important to you in life. The song is pretty much telling you that you must learn to deal with these painful feelings without the medicine if you want to truly move on with your life. Pain is important in life, it's what makes you beautiful. Don't rely on crutches. Don't take the medicine in life, because that is what really holds you back.

  • Hadn’t heard this song in a while but I just listened to it again today and I couldn’t keep myself from crying. I don’t normally cry from anything these days but I feel like I want to so often. We take for granted, the feeling of relief and humility that comes from allowing ourselves to cry every once in a while. Things may not even be that bad for some of us in retrospect, but this world is a very harsh and lonely place at times. At the end of the day we’re left with our thoughts and feelings that no one else can truly understand. If I have to name one example of something that brings us all together and allows our feelings and emotions to be interconnected, it’s music. This song does that for many of us and because it’s one that we’ve all so desperately wanted to be on Spotify for years, I think it’s all the more special. Peace and love everyone!!✌️🤍 don’t give up on yourselves. You can be whoever and do whatever you want right now. It’s never too late!!

  • I was stuck in the line at the border for 7 hours yesterday around the 5 hour mark I found this song again!! As sooon as the song started playing on its own I paused it immediately & allll the lyrics & music came to me!!! I couldn’t believe it!!!   • I am having a very strong bond to this song because it guided me threw two of my most emotional moments so far. My first boyfriend had an undefined kind of autism so he couldnt express his feelings right sometimes. This song was in the background as he cried for the first time in front of me. The sentence that made him cry was me saying "I love you". We were nearly breaking up the night before. He cried constantly for 15 minutes. He says that to someone else now but I'll keep this memory for me. The second time this song helped me was when my stepmother and mother of my sweet little sister died of alcohol abuse. The Last thing she promised to my dad, shortly before she fell asleep forever, was that she will go to rehab. She didnt do that for years. Before alcohol she has been such a cool, loving and beautiful person. She has raised me too. Please guys, remember that there is a point where it will be too late to say some things. Just say what you want to say. It won't last in the world if it's just in your head.

    • As a kid born in 2004, I used to feel jealous a few years ago of my older brother born in 1997 because he grew up in the early 2000s and experienced nice things from those days and also because I felt I was too young to be suffering the effects of climate change and pollution created by the older people (I was 14 in 2018 when I had these feelings). Now I'm grateful for all the things I experienced (like this song when it was released thanks to my brother) that the kids born 2007 and later won't remember.
