I am a McGregor fan, but I put my money on Khabib. I have watched UFC the past 15 years.. If they take that from Khabib and he can no longer fight in the UFC I will NEVER watch UFC again. Nothing to do with being his buddy. McGregor built his name into a brand that was valuable to the UFC. Is McGregor a punk? Yes, but it is mostly an act to sell fights. His actions in New York were totally unacceptable and if he wasn't such a money maker for the UFC he would have been banned from ever fighting in the Octogon again. Khabib is on a completely different level than McGregor as a fighter but he is not very personable. His lack of charisma does not sell fights.
