  • The announcers said it, she's one of the only athletes in the world where you gain *more* respect for her when she doesn't land a move. You can't even say she failed. She over rotated. She is rotating so freaking fast that she has *voluntarily* taken a half point deduction (!) to have her coach there as a spotter. I STG that woman could rotate herself into freaking orbit she is that damn powerful. She is amazing! She is the freaking GOAT! No question.

  • She still had her hands and arms in the perfect finishing position 😊 This lady is so phenomenal and if she stumbles? It's okay, she gets back up and does it again.     • What quitter!? If you're talking about the last Olympic Games Simone had developed the "Twisties." If she had continued and she fell again she could just as easily have broken her neck and become a quadriplegic, if lucky, or dead if not so lucky? The closest I can come when describing what has been described as the Twisties would be to vault or do any other apparatus with a horrible case of Vertigo!

  • Still phenomenal, daring, strong. Expanding the limits of possible. The pike rotations usually failed by insufficient rotation-Boles manages an OVER-rotation. SLIGHT RELAXING and flattening the LAST rotation to stick it with perfection would be the goal. The gift is: who else would even attempt to perfect-much less perfect- this level of difficulty? Stick it Simone!
