Also, very weak effort here by the people trying to stop the dog. The owner acts like he is not even trying or is afraid of his own dog. The one guy had the right idea by trying to put a stick in the mouth of the dog to open the mouth, but he was not going to be able to do that with the thin stick he had and how far away he was. That was an American Pitbull. They were bred to latch onto and hold animals like bulls, bears, wild boar, and other dogs. You are not going to get one to let go by holding the back legs or using a thin stick to try to open the jaw while standing like five feet away.

This is why it is a terrible idea to have dogs just running the streets. Street dogs should not even be a thing. As many dogs as possible should be tied or secure in a home or kennel. Allowing for dogs to just roam the streets is dangerous for people, pets, and even the dogs themselves. Another thing to take into account that the majority of case of humans getting rabies in certain countries are from street dogs, and most of the victims are children.

Anyone who is reading this. If this happens, and preferably if the attacking dog is wearing a collar. Grab the collar, twist and pull upward with variable strength. This will cut off the dog’s air supply for a few seconds - but long enough to allow the other dog to go free. In this case, they had rope. Fasten the rope around the dog’s neck, twist and pull upward. Make sure you unfasten the rope quickly after the other dogs goes free, so the attacking dog doesn’t pass out. Learn how to take care your dogs. This was probably fatal- most of all, the pulling of the other dog could’ve made things tremendously worse.

you have to grab your dog by the collar and at the same time squeeze below the throat as hard as you can with your hand so that the dog can't breathe anymore, this usually takes 5-10 seconds and then dog opens his mouth because he wants to breathe.

The dog will attack again- the boy pet the dog after the attack which just tells the dog that the boy approves of its actions.

My dogs a labrador retriever shes a sweetheart she loves everyone and i think its illegal to own a vicious dog in Virginia which is where i live
