Day 3 was another great day for racing, we unfortunately had a bit of a rain delay during our roll race eliminations but we got back to the action with just enough time to get through our finals for all the roll race classes. Lots of great racing, lots of false starts as well, but we only leave in the good stuff.

  • blows my mind that Kyle was the one who had to run over to grab a fire extinguisher smh.. Those employees are useless. Kyle was nice and edited out them just standing around saying they dont know where a extinguisher is, TTC left it in thankfully.

    • Yeah just seen that, all track employees need to know where fire extinguishers are, a fire in the engine bay can get out of hand fast, something like that shouldn’t happen. Ik Kyle is a frequent flyer at these events and from what I seen he is extremely reliable in these situations but I still don’t find that acceptable.

    • Track crew and event crew are separate, there were no track crew at the staging lanes. And if you notice the crew (you can clearly see them running in the video) in addition to Kyle located them quickly and put it out before it damaged anything more than what initially caught fire.

    • @@braveheart4lif31 im aware those are tx2k employees, doesn't fix the fact that they said they didn't know where any extinguishers were when they were 10 feet from them. Kyle running towards was the only reason they knew it's shown on trc video lol.. Every single employee for the event should know where one is at all times especially if they're at a new facility.. Shrugging your shoulders while a car is about to burst into flames hoping a track employee comes is ridiculous.

    • That's exactly what I was thinking based off of the footage. Had the Mustang had a clean start there is a good chance he would have been wiped out by the R8. One of those situations where something bad actually saving you from something worse.

    • I was very impressed by that S550 for being the only representative of the Coyote community. I think a RWD to be successful needs very good traction control capability which the stock ECU run in most modified Mustangs can't do. It's possible to go fast in a red. The Nth Moto Vipers did several 220mph+ runs.

  • That conversation with one of the winners in the GTR is why street roll racing for money is something I would never do for big money. It's hard to get a 100 percent fair race because so many problems can happen. That's without people trying to finesse and be shady.

  • This is an intriguing style of racing! Just wondering, why aren't there corvettes competing in this? Seems they would be an inexpensive alternative to some of these high-dollar super cars?!

    • There wasn't many the previous two years that I could remember...I thought the same thing...its gotta be cheaper to build an LS/LT than a V10 or straight 6
