Next time you have 5 parlays to win going into the main event and you're betting on the favorite place a hedge on the underdog and guarantee yourself a profit no matter who wins or at the very least put down enough on the dog to make your money back if the favorite loses, whatever you'll lose on the hedge out will be negligible to what you win if things go right and if your original pick loses you'll be unbelievably grateful you hedged out and got something back
