Seth McFarland I think he’s a funny guy. He should’ve stuck with trying to reboot the Flintstones but as far as good times when I was growing up watching it it dealt with social issues. It had some comic relief too but it was a little more serious not this junk, it’s kind of corny. I don’t think I wanna watch it that’s just my opinion. Thank you.

You are 💯. I have been saying that as well. We literally glorify all that. We showcase it on social media all the time. All our foolishness, recklessness, etc., is recorded. If we don’t like the show, it is because it hits home in a lot of ways. But it isn’t Netflix’s fault. It’s our own and much of this could be said for other communities as well. This is why academic excellence was so important for Gen. Xers. Yeah, we gained the debt, worked the job but we understood opportunities are few and far between. That struggle is real.

I never saw Good Times in its entirety, all I know is that Norman Lear made that show just like he made one of my favorite shows from the 70's, All In The Family. I knew this was a rebooted sequel of that show based on how the characters acted, however, the floppiness of this crap is far from how Lear intended Good Times to be: half real life, half comedy, just like All In The Family.

The trailer is so atrocious! There is a way to joke about stereotypes without being mean spirited. The trailer is so disrespectful to the original.
