Minecraft: 1.14 New Blocks Building Tricks and Tips new blocks have been added to minecraft in the upcoming 1.14 update and we put together a bunch of design ideas for these blocks. There's a few minecraft build hacks thrown in there too.
I feel like we have only just scratched the surface, but i'm pretty proud of these designs.

I think paper screens would work a little bit better in game. Combine sticks and paper, and they would look like glass panes that are opaque, but still let light through. Or for a door, surround a door with paper to make a sliding screen door, which would be the first 2 block long door.

I wish Mojang adds extra blocks for hopper. There's only 1 hopper which can face any direction but I hope they add extra blocks like pipes were you can change its direction. It'll also help for better and more easy to transfer items rather than using water item traveler. It's also a good decoration for water pipes in sewers, buildings, and other more stuff. Hope they add it on the future

Would it distribute the items randomly, 2. or evenly in all accessible directions?: Input: 20 items 5-way hopper (4 sides and 1 at the bottom): 20/5 = 4 items exiting into each output 4-way hopper: 20/4 = 5 items exiting into each output 3-way hopper: 20/3 = (18/3 = 6) + 2 = 6 items would enter each output + 2 remaining items distributed to the outputs at random 2-way hopper: 20/2 = 10 to each side 1-way (standard) hopper: all enters, all goes I don't know man... it looks too random to me, sorting systems would fail miserably. Unless the items, that enter the outputs at random, would enter them in a clockwise manner, starting from the northern direction and going through them all one by one, prioritizing the bottom output the first, followed by any of the side outputs.
