    • Insanely walled house shots help a lot of terrible bowlers get to the 200's. Throw it with decent revs to the right side of the lane and you're likely a 200 bowler. And more revs equals even more margin of error for terrible bowlers, which is why 2 handed got popular.

P.S. If you ever come back to Raleigh, NC I hope I get to bowl against you, I think it'd be good content for this video series. And if not, I'm sure the lesson would be just what I need to join the tour lol

    • For one thing, the kid needs to learn to bend his knees. He's standing super erect and dropping the ball on the lane at the foul line. If you are a true 210 bowler I bet you don't do that. This kid looks like a 180 bowler..maybe.

      @Ironfangzu@Ironfangzu Жыл бұрын
    • I think the guy needs more knee bend and a little more spine tilt. His ball goes KATHUD! when it hits the lane. His release is also poor. As a two-hander, Darren’s ball hooked more, it shouldn’t be that way. He is not getting under the ball properly. He should watch Packy’s most recent video on that.

  • I picked up a 6-7-10 split when I was about 15 years old in league one Saturday. It was the most impressive spare conversion I've ever made, and I wasn't even thinking I'd make it. I was aiming for the 6-10 pins, thinking I'd only get 2 out of the 3. The 6 pin kicked out and shot across the lane, kicking out the 7 pin. It was very difficult to convert on, considering I'm right handed and the right side of the lane is where the majority of the pins were at. I had a stroke when I was 9 years old back in 2007, so when I started back walking again, I got into bowling. My highest ever game was a 243. I bowled 11 strikes in a row (not all in the same game). I've bowled 1 other game besides that over 200, and it was a 210. I haven't been able to bowl in the last few years on account of my health.

As a fellow two handed bowler I’ve definitely struggled with some of the same issues he seemed to struggle with (either coming over the ball too much with his hands causing it to slide or over correcting and over hooking it into the head pin).
