The Largest Land-Based Crane in the World: Massive SGC-250
The massive SGC-250 crane, the biggest and most potent crane in Sarens' fleet in terms of size and capability, was presented.
They are doing a load-in, loading, and assembly of jackets for the bleacher project in this new episode of Giant Machines. Additionally, they are making a statement with new UK-made caps.
It is easy to see why Sarens has grown to be a global leader in heavy lifting and engineered transport when you combine cutting-edge design tools with one of the largest stocks of cranes, transporters, and specialist rigging equipment, as well as a team of highly qualified professionals.

I believe it is 2000 tons at 100 meters not 2000000
Load moment 250.000Tm. Basically, max load 5000 (metric) tons at max radius of 50 meters => 250.000 Tonmeters
A beautiful piece of equipment
the people behind this are geniuses
Just not the one who made this shitty video.
Donnie Sampson is the crane operator of this massive machine! Donnie is a legend in the industry, worldwide.
thank you for information well done real raw facts
Very impressive!
There's nothing in the world can lift 2 million tons.
Yeah, l am missing something.
2million tonne meters is a measure of load moment. Its the radius by the weight on the end of the hook
Man if those ancient pyramid builders or at Baalbek only had one of these bad boys ( or the engineers who design and build it) just think of what they coulda done…😂
If you got enough jacks together, I guess anything is possible Boka Vanguard can lift 117,000 tonnes on its deck
You forgot Superman!
Two aircraft carriers and a destroyer. 250,000 tons. He definitely went way over with the calculations.

@@BigStefX I’m really lost.thanks for the correction.Appreciate the feedback👍
Impressive.
Every country in the world bar two use the metric measurement system. So instead of using old imperial weights and measures, use the SI weights and measures so that we can understand the capabilities that you cite.
Fun fact: In America the weights and measures reference samples are metric!
Realy I like this video so much
Never skips leg day.
❤wow
Mis-information. No crane in the owrld "can lift two million tons". The bigger the radious for lifting, the lower the capacity of the crane. Still, an interesting video.
Dude ! Do you even lift ?
Can someone one break down the math. Like into 3rd grade terms and include the conversions to freedom units?
Not 250.000 T per meter. 250.000 Ton * meter, it should be.
2.500 tn
@@cazador426 No, not correct. SGC-250 - Inaugurated in 2018 - Load moment 250.000Tm - Capacity 5.000T - Outer ring ∅ 48,5m - 128 wheels - 5.200T counterweight - Main boom up to 160m - Heavy-duty jib up to 100m - Relocation between lifting positions
Sounds like the commentary was translated from a chinglish manual.
Big carl
So biger I like
2 million tonnes at 100 meters, dreaming
Put the 1.5T skip on, concrete on the way….
Only Samson can lift 1 million tons.
🚩🔱🇮🇳🔥⚔️🛡
2 million tonnes!? Hahaha better check your numbers buddy…there is no crane on earth that can lift 2 million tonnes… And you’re saying Tons but showing tonnes…2 different measurements.
Nothing on earth weighs 2 million tonnes
2million tonnes my arse. Kilograms potentially. 2000 tonnes or whatever depends on the counter weights installed. Get your claims sorted for credability. 5000 tonnes full capacity eh. More believable. Homer must be scripting.
Too many factually wrong statements in this one. Do better research next time and get your units correct.
What a load of crap! Not 2,000.000 tonnes!
Hate these computer narrations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Especially when it's so factually wrong too. But I guess a human narrator would read the same crap too...
