    • YES thinking as looking at these mega monsters 😊 but is that overkill. My gosh the bridge piece when they CUT them don't even come close to the lift that these bad boys can do. 😊 Bet there are some of these companies just chomping at the bit for that phone call 😊 "OK" boys let's pull anchors and head to Baltimore ASAP I love the ones that have there own pod system to move and operate without a tug Super size tug that is. Kind of like the tugs that work out of Alaska NOW escorts for super oil tankers after that terrible OIL spill.

    • @@womble321 most of these Largest cranes in the world would have to cross the Atlantic ocean to get to Baltimore. They are in use where their expensive price tags can be used to make a profit for the owners. Meaning they are in use in the oil development fields. Very heavy lifting for putting an oil rig deck and housing on a floating platform.

      @rckc.1719@rckc.1719Ай бұрын
    • @@rckc.1719 The crane they brought in can lift only 1,000 ton. They have marine cranes That can pick 10,000 to 100,000 tons. When they built the Tappanzee Bridge across the Hudson River and replace the Railroad Spitendival swing bridge down by New York that crane would have no problem clearing the rubble away in 4 days. But one thing is clear, 1 person is in charge of the Unified Command so it doesn't turn into a cluster $^#* Like the Golden Ray where all the monkeys 🐒 stood around beating their chest and arguing who was in charge and the expense clock ⏰ just kept ticking. Then everyone points fingers on costs and who pays.

  • "Zhenhua 30" is the world's largest crane ship, and it is still the world's largest to this day. Its total weight reaches 140,000 tons, the single-arm lifting capacity is 12,000 tons, and the 360-degree full rotation lifting capacity also reaches 7,000 tons, and these theoretical values are not its limits, because during the test , it has lifted ships that are 110% higher than its maximum lifting capacity, so the data of "Zhenhua 30" is still a bit "conservative"
