    • I do agree that the majority of people stand somewhere in the center with their points of view on these particular racial viewpoints. However, if you spend any amount of time on the internet you'll find plenty of people of all colors (especially on college campuses) who believe that kind of far left narrative and victim mentality. Tom made some good points, some of which are factual, but much of this song seems to also be hyperbolic and satirical and playing on that far left mentality. That being said, only Tom knows exactly what he was trying to convey in this song. All the comments are people trying to expound hypotheticals based on how they see it.

    • I tell everyone all the time if you want insight on knowing how to take the things I say (I'm a smart ass who speaks fluent sarcasm lol) to just keep in mind that I am never serious but I mean everything I say... meaning I keep everything as light hearted as possible but I tell it like it is ... I will make it easy to digest with a smile on your face but I wont sugar coat it or dumb it down... To Tom comes across as being very similar.. It a natural instinct for people to stop listening the moment they hear something there creates a negative emotion... they dont heard what comes next bc there minds go on the defensive... you can test it yourself... if you have something negative to tell someone dont start with the negative start with the explanation... it's the same concept behind why they say to use I feel statements as opposed to bc you statements... Sorry for rambling lol Much love SHAQ AND HOGFAM

    • I love this and it is the reverse of straight white male . But I do feel they pit white and black gay and straight ect . Tryn to divide everyone . Cuz they scared we will come together. None of us like or trust goverment. And the powers that be keep us irrelevant. We are the gears the wheel the main piece of the pie . And together we are the majority. And our needs and wants would have to be relevant then . You got secret goverment ,media big tech, big biz pharma ,military industrial complex, Hollywood, soros and all the other powerful puppets and the global elitist kabal. And ik alot of ppl prob agree with alot of that . But this next line gonna get me some hate . President Trump is fighting these ppl . He tryn keep the goverment small . And dight this shadow swamp government and the 95% negative media and Hollywood and soros and the global kabal. They using ppls emotions and doing PRS problem reaction solution. The create the problem causing a reaction then swooping in with the solution. Just to appear as the saviours. And they pit us all against one another always have . We all want the same thing. And we better be coming together and figuring it out . B4 the goverment takes all power and does it for us . And renders us all powerless . I'm not down with a socialist government. That's a stepping stone to communism . And I'm not down with ppl being silenced . I'm not down with any of it . We gotta come together and show we know our worth . While the goverment still run from the ppl up . Cuz we may run outta that option if we cant. And I think that's why they dont want us hearing these messages . Just like they trying label Adam Calhoun a racist . And we know better ppl . God bless and much love . We all bleed red white and blue yall . One race the human race .

  • This might be the first time I think you actually missed the point of one of these songs Shaq. He isn’t saying that’s what black people do or think. He is saying that is what WHITE people THINK that black people do and think. For example Tom is saying that white people think that black people don’t want to pay their taxes because the government oppresses them. Tom is saying White people think that black people are always bent up about slavery. Tom is saying White people think that because black people always talk about police shootings black people are afraid to drive in case they get shot. That’s why the song is called “If I was black”. It’s from the perspective of a white person doing the perspective of a black person.

If you don’t know that going into it you’d get a completely different meaning out of it and he’s so great at picking at the extremes if every situation so you literally think “well that’s extreme...” and I think that’s the point, to make people realize how extreme and stupid it is
