In this exciting episode, join us as Omar and Sara react to the popular video game, Vector.
Our experts will also provide insights into the similarities and differences between parkour in the game and in real life. They'll discuss the importance of proper technique and training, and highlight any potential safety concerns that players should be aware of.
So join us as we dive into the world of parkour and gaming!
Vector is a 2012 platform game for Windows and Mobile developed and published by Cyprus-based studio Nekki. It is an arcade-styled parkour game with the objective being to break free from the cycle as a free runner.
In Vector, players take the role of a silhouette who is constantly being pursued by another silhouette, seemingly some form of enforcer for the system the player character breaks out of. The game does not have a long story apart from the introduction video which reveals that a player character is a man in an Orwellian dystopia, no longer able to bend to the will of his masters. He casts aside his mind-control device and his shirt, and leaps from his skyscraper prison, sprinting across rooftops toward the distant horizon.

You guys should’ve reacted to the bonus levels. There’s one segment in the first world that’s just back to back to back to back vault-overs that I admit would drain stamina like a kid with AA batteries, but it’s very aesthetically appealing.
I like to think that Vector is a dystopian future of Shadow Fight and our runner is a descendant of shadow. This would explain the crazy durability and stamina.
It was already explained in vector 2
@@user-gv6in8me8jwhat happened in vector 2?

reminds me of Epicurious I think. where the penguin Rico makes so much sushi in a matter of a few seconds and the chef's response
So basically the story of Vector just follows a rogue employee who breaks out of their constraints, so they chase him through three districts, but little did the rogue(you) know that they are preparing the rogue(you) to become one of the hunters who chases every other rogues across the entirety of the game, it is clear because if you play through the whole campaign with the scarf, the hunter in the next mode will also have that scarf
Damn what a twist😂

FINALLY!!! We got to React to Vector 😁 Hope y’all enjoyed our ridiculous shenanigans 🙌🏻 Who thinks we should recreate some of these in Real Life? 👋 🤔
you should probably recreate the long range jump if you can....i just wanna see what happens if you do it in real life (not forcing you bruh)
both of you had nice reaction, it's fun to watch
Thats sounds great! I would like to see that!
Alongside the triple pike, because of course, I think that you should definitely recreate some of these scenes. Even having somebody in the full armor chase you 😂😅
I'd like to see that "swallow" move and maybe the swing gainer, too! Vector has a sequel, Vector 2, and the deluxe mode of the first game also has some more tricks in it!
When you realize that the opening to the game is the character escaping the system/matrix/work schedule and that's what they don't want you to do. Throughout the game, you see there are other escapees as well, but in the end, they catch up to him and put him back in the system. They tried to warn us in the intro of the game, but we didn't understand back then. NOW WE KNOW WHY HE WANTED TO ESCAPE
Vector is in fact the best parkour game of all time across all platforms + the intro has a deep message (The Matrix). When you think of parkour, the first thing that comes to mind is Vector
What about mirrors edge?
I think Vector is up there, but not quite the best parkour game ever (even tho when it comes to mobile or 2D games in general I agree with you!) the game which in my opinion embodies the essence of parkour is Mirror's Edge
We might as well go for another nostalgic game: Martial Artists react to Shadow Fight 2 (and also throw in the fencing experts since there are weapons in the game)
what about ''physicists react to om nom''
@@mr.commonsense what about zombie apocalypse survivor reacts to TLOU

And shadow fight 3
Shadow fight 3 have soo realistic moves!
The reason he’s able to do so many cool parkour moves back to back is because his only form of substance is coffee (Atleast in my head canon)
I think because this "9-5 worker" have some that you mention or some kind of organic battery
man literally breathes "FREEDOM,FUCK MY JOB"
His only form of substance is *ADRENALINE*
I played Vector for a long time, I already beat the game entirely, so here's some notes: 1. The hunter isn't just one guy every single phase. If one gets too far behind, another one just spawns closer to the character and replaces the previous one. Plus, they're being mind controlled, so the "hunter always on the guy's back" is plausible. 2. Yeah, the character does flex his abilities sometimes but it's just for the 3 stars run, you don't actually need to do everything to win, specially if you're trying to beat in less time possible instead of most perfect run possible. But in order to play the next phases you still need some stars from the previous ones, so it's more of an end game challenge. And a suggestion: you could also review and judge how realistic the game fails are (e.g.: crashing at a wall at full speed) and also gameplays from the second game, that I guess has a better terminology for the stunts and overall more realistic gravity.
vector and shadow fight are the goats of childhood
Responding some of them questions: Nekki is the responsible for this game. They also made the "Shadow fight" games (Maybe "Martial Artists react to Shadow Fight 2"?) and as far I can remember, they're from Russia so that why some terminology is "incorrect" due translation As for "Vector 2" it does exists and it's centered about the guy from this first game getting cloned and force to run tests on him. Development stopped a long time ago after they released chapter 2 and yo this day it seems that they haven't dropped a new update on the game You can react to vector 2 but it's "kind of the same" being the only difference that now are new game mechanics, different backgrounds and a few more tricks to unlock and do Thanks again for the experts and Gameology to give us this one :)❤

Vector is simply the BEST parkour game I've ever played. The movement and the animation is just so good. I really like the hunter mode, since there is no way to speed up in order to catch the target you have to do every jump right to save as much time as possible and pass each obstacle with the most efficient way, which is the real concept of "Parkour".

This game was my childhood and by seeing this video I learn more about parkour.
I would love to see them react to Prince of Persia. Especially the last one, the one that was a reboot. Because even though it's not a great video game, it does have parkour moves that even my 11-year-old self found weird, like literally climbing ceilings, upside down, and I mean climbing them like Spiderman, using momentum to do it along with the gauntlet of metal of the Prince using it as a kind of hook. It was very absurd but really cool, in fact if I remember correctly each zone had its own style of parkour. The Hunter area had a lot of landslides, the Concubine area had more bars and things like that.
