Worldwide, the conflict continued to escalate as Japan made their presence felt as signatories of the Tripartite Pact, giving Hitler's Axis of Evil more power than ever. Britain stood alone as the nightly bombing raids of the Blitz devastated major cities, while overseas British troops joined the Allied campaign for supremacy in North Africa.

    • A narração desses vídeos foram feitos em cima de vídeos que já tinham sido narrados em inglês. a narração deveria ser numerada em cada frente de batalha. acho que quem montou esses vários vídeos para formar um único vídeo, não achou necessário numerar os vídeos, porque cada vídeo mostra frentes diferentes. isso por causa da cronologia do tema. Saudações.

  • Correction : @310 How can you say after Hitler invaded Poland, that both Britain and France were embroiled in a war that would last 6 longs years ? Yes, for Britain, No for France. France was defeated in a Blitzkrieg speed invasion by Hitler, then spent the next 4-5 years defeated, occupied, and collaborated with Hitler-Nazi Germany under Petain Viche French rule against the Allies, confirmed by British PM Winston Churchill who ordered the destruction of the French Navy. France would effectively be considered a part of the Axis til it's eventual liberation by the Allies 4 years later. Side note - Gen De Gaulle had nearly zero power and military army to liberate France, he was just a morale resistance leader at best during the 4 years of military occupation.

    • Bc they’re translations. The video is in several languages. 😊 They’re pretty accurate as far as what’s being said. It is a little weird when the words don’t match up but this is translated into a few languages. (I could be wrong but I believe they’re AI) The answer however, is theyre translations from the other languages. Hope that helps. (If you go into settings, there’s an option to change from the English translation. Just go down to auto generated English. Those captions are almost exactly what you’d want if the other translation is frustrating you. I went back and checked a few spots that I know were pretty off the exact English words, the auto generated version were quite accurate.)

  • rather a summary of known facts than a discovery. Royal Air Force should have not won the battle of England if Hitler weirdly hadn't stopped hunting the Brit fugitives in Dunkirk. That's the biggest mystery of WWII. Brits could have been totally drowned and bombed in Dunkirk despite recent movie's controversial "facts" about it. England would have then missed among those 100s of 1000s fugitives, more than a bunch of aviators...
