  • Burst into tears watching him chase and bark after the vehicle he thought he belonged to. What kind of monster abandons a dog. Thank God there are wonderful people out there, that would dedicate so much time and love to an animal. God bless

    • This is exactly why I only adopt rescues or abandoned dogs. There are far too many horrible assholes out there neglecting/abusing wonderful, loyal dogs. There's a special type of love between dogs who've been through Hell and their forever-parents.

      @pablodelsegundo9502@pablodelsegundo95023 жыл бұрын
    • You don't know that the owner dumped him. His owner could have been a truck driver and something happened to spook the dog. His owner could have died.

      @Jenifer_R_@Jenifer_R_2 жыл бұрын
    • The circumstances were different (if we're assuming the owner was a trucker who abandoned him) but there was a famous dog in Japan during WW2 whose owner died. When his owner was alive he used the same railway station every day to get to work. For the rest of his life, this dog visited the station every single day at the same time he'd usually meet his boss and would wait. When he died, the dog was buried next to his owner and there is a famous monument in Japan which depicts the loyal dog standing next to his boss. Burying them together means that even in death the loyalist of dogs can always be "at arms" with his old master.

    • We don’t really know Charlie’s origin story. It’s safe to say his owner was a truck driver, given his reaction to the sound of semis passing. The driver could have been in an accident, and Charlie either thrown free, or ran off in fear. In fact, the broken leg may have been from such an accident. It’s easy to believe that dogs found in circumstances similar to Charlie's were abandoned. But that isn’t always the case. Let’s all just be thankful that someone who cares found him, and alerted A Safefurr Place Animal Rescue, and they didn’t give up trying to rescue him.

    • There's that small population of people who are still total A-holes to animals, but that seems to be going down every decade. Think about it, in the 50's, most people who had dogs just left them outside. Look at 2020, There's only a tiny amount of people who are still doing that. Most people who have pups bring in their pups for bed. Im a dog groomer, back in the day, the only dogs who got groomed were show dogs. Now, tons of people get their babies groomed, just because they love the pup and want to make sure they're comfortable and clean, they're not even show dogs. They just see that pup as a part of the family, and not as just a pet.

NOT on purpose and he walked the wrong way. we found him about 2 miles from the house. safe. the kids never messed with him again. but now i have a 20 year old that is going blind. she does as well if we are out with her. but we dont leave her alone when she is outside. because she gets lost so easy. if we speak she will come to us.

  • My faith has been slightly restored seeing Charlie rescued after being in the orchard for so long and being blind... how lonely it must have been😥 And now he has a family that loves him, how I would love to know his life story from puppyhood until he was rescued...🥺🤲Live long and stay safe💕

  • Awwww 🥺. Thank you all. My heart was hurt, filled, broken then refilled. I did wonder was he dumped or did his person lose him or something else. Whatever was the cause I'm glad he was found and is being the loved and cared for in the way her should be. 💜
