--------
Former NBA referee Tim Donaghy discussed allegations of his misconduct during Phoenix Suns games and the subsequent modifications to NBA regulations. Donaghy noted that although team members questioned whether he intentionally influenced game results, both the FBI and NBA confirmed in their separate investigations that he hadn't redirected any outcomes. The controversy prompted revisions to the NBA referee guidelines in 2007. The new rules lifted some gambling restrictions and increased training sessions for referees. Despite these changes, Donaghy raised doubts about their actual implementation, noting he did not see substantial changes. He shared his personal experience with the justice system, revealing he did not have to pay his $250,000 bond and was released the same day he pled guilty. He touched on the agonizing wait for his sentencing, where he was even prepared for trial against Batista.

  • As somebody who has studiedly and researched this for years, he’s right the biggest prick in all this is stern. He lied and covered it and then Recruited people from the fbi to help control the narrative. Tim did wrong but he wasn’t the only one . As u can see the game today teams are scoring over 150 points regularly, the games are still heavily manipulated and there’s no accountability, gambling has now made it ten times worse
