I think I may have seen hundreds of super yacht tours and this is by far the best crew set up I've ever seen. I'd love to crew on a boat like this.
Great video! Always had a wish to visit a yacht like this! Its AMAZING! One question about touch screen panels. What happens if you accidentally drop something and it cracks the glass/touch screen? Can you somehow take controls for that panel from some other place or you need a replacement?

I thought the yacht was okay before like it was nice but it wasn't until I saw the bridge and the crew quarters that I realized just how awesome this boat is, this has got the best bridge and crew area I've ever seen on any boat on KZhead😮

Thanks to the owner as well as the captain and crew of Loon for this video. It is incredibly impressive seeing the crew areas. The he cabins are not bad at all. I think this may be the first yacht I have seen both a crew mess and crew lounge. I will say this, the armrests on the chairs on the bridge are the biggest ones I have ever seen. It almost looked like there were controls built into the armrests.
Crew areas on board these vessels is vital. Due to the nature of the work and the fact that this yacht is home as such, Yacht designers are now really beginning to see the importance of great crew space but also enough cabins for enough crew to cope with guests levels. Rotational working on some yachts these days is helping but the smaller vessels still use their crew throughout an entire season and therefore crewing levels have to be right to work to the ISM and MLC. I really appreciate this yacht for all its social media work and bringing a great view of Yachting to the public. Well done Loon

Oh! That was such a great tour to see all the crews space! It is actually nice to see and great that you do all have great cabins. It was absolutely fascinating to see the Bridge! My dad used to have a Grand Baks 42 foot boat! We all had your yacht masters offshore ticket! so if anything happened to any one of us, we could deal with the boat! We did not have what was called back then, can going as the boat did not have that kind of range! We did go along the whole of the southern coast of England and across the France and Belgium I wish you all a great charter season!

What a superb crew! Very professional and obviously very good in their roles, obviously superb as a team. Captain Paul looks pretty relaxed and on top of everything, the sign of a good manager and team leader. This crew must provide an awesome experience for their guests! The crew facilities/accommodation looked pretty good for a 67m but I do wonder why single berths aren't possible, especially for longer trips.

That captain's cabin is about double the size of our master cabin. But then again, our boat is only 50', this is a bit bigger. Great video.
Out of all of the yatch channels and videos I've watched on KZhead and it's many MY LOON has some of the best crew cabins and space fotmr crew that I've ever seen.

I worked on full cruise ships, and this is pretty decent even compared. I was lucky enough to have a job that allowed me my own room as an entertainer.

i was the chief engineer on a 300'+ motor yacht, i didn't like being stuck on the boat all the time and i hated being on call 24/7, i had a nice shop in the rudder room, behind the engine room and a cute little girlfriend that was one of the chefs, i answered to the captain only so thankfully i avoided a lot of bullshit

Does each position have an alternate to take some's place when they on leave? How long do most crew members stay on the Yacht before taking time off? Do crew members get paid when it is their turn to leave the ship.
Room for improvement! You should try an old-fashioned mangle. They dry - completely - & iron/press in one operation.
A very nice video! I love the view behind the scenes and where and how the real work is done for a nice cruise. What I did not understand was: how is the vessel steered and by whom and how are the engines operated and by whom? Is the helmsman standig between the chairs where he is then operating the vessel? Considering the outside view of the bridge I think its not perfect for manouvering in tight and narrow surroundings. There is a lot of "wall" between the windows. I would have expected seamless windows or just minor (but strong enough) columns between them. Just my initial thoughts. Perhaps my English is not good enough to understand all of the captain's explanations. 😉 Navigate safe through the seven seas and always a hand-width of water under the keel.
