The fighters respective fighting styles are making it messy to watch but both men fought hard to make it work for them. Very close fight hard to score even thought Cedric landed more than Murtel I do think there is a very slight edge to Murtel in this fight.

How are the commentators constantly getting even facts wrong. "clean scoring strikes are similar" 87 vs 38 are you serious? The overall fight was close and not mad Groenhart won since he got the "flashy points" but the commentators, time and time again, has proved that they are incompetent

Niki had clean and efficient boxing, Cedric wiped the floor with him twice - I think something most of the comments here are missing is the fact that the way these guys fight it's simply different, they fight off balance, their opponents fall for the traps, the feint here the akward footing there and they end it - but when they are fighting against each other you have akward vs akward so the traps are never closed.

Absolutely fantastic fight - loved every second of it. Actually prefer it to the Cedric vs Niki fight, the way these guys fight is luring their opponent into attacks by appearing off balance, or striking from akward angles with punches and knees, the initial attack due to it's angle would look like a brawl but the finish will be to the point. It's clear in the way Cedric finished Niki and Murthel knocks most of he's opponents out. But when you have an akward fighter vs an akward fighter, it quickly ends in a brawl like situation because they both fight off balance - but none easily falls into the other's trap so while you see the traps being set, the off balance akward position punches and sudden lunges in punches/kicks you will hardly see the efficient finishes because unlike with other cleaner fights Cedric and Murthel has fought - these guys don't easily fall for the traps.

IMHO Valtellini was one of the best fighters in this class. I think he could wins against Doumbe. I'm agree whit @Shaddy No Games, I don't like this evolution. I really miss k1 from 10 years ago....

Niki had clean and efficient boxing, Cedric wiped the floor with him twice - I think something most of the comments here are missing is the fact that the way these guys fight it's simply different, they fight off balance, their opponents fall for the traps, the feint here the akward footing there and they end it - but when they are fighting against each other you have akward vs akward so the traps are never closed.
21:31 , one again Groenhart going for cheap shots while his opponent has their back turned followed by Doumbé saying " Coward! Coward!" was the best bit of the fight xD

Absolutely fantastic fight - loved every second of it. Actually prefer it to the Cedric vs Niki fight, the way these guys fight is luring their opponent into attacks by appearing off balance, or striking from akward angles with punches and knees, the initial attack due to it's angle would look like a brawl but the finish will be to the point. It's clear in the way Cedric finished Niki and Murthel knocks most of he's opponents out. But when you have an akward fighter vs an akward fighter, it quickly ends in a brawl like situation because they both fight off balance - but none easily falls into the other's trap so while you see the traps being set, the off balance akward position punches and sudden lunges in punches/kicks you will hardly see the efficient finishes because unlike with other cleaner fights Cedric and Murthel has fought - these guys don't easily fall for the traps.
