  • This reminded me how insane the differences were in Łódź, Poland. In Glasgow the buildings look a little worse or better. In Łódź they're either borderline inhabitable and probably housing a meth lab, or amazing expensive apartments and glass office buildings. Crossing the road to the poor side felt like I took a detour into Belarus.

If it’s an accent from our island then it’s British. And also, it would be fine to say Scandinavian accent if that’s how you described a Norwegian accent. But even still, Scandinavia isn’t one Union/Kingdom/Nation like England, Scotland, Wales and NI are.
