Are you having trouble picking up a nervous, shy, or skittish rabbit? Does your rabbit run away from you, or is it scared when being held? In this video I demonstrate the techniques I use to pick up and hold my rabbit as well as how to safely put them back down. Please remember that rabbits are happiest when they're on the floor and should not be picked up unnecessarily.

My rabbit has become so accustomed to being picked up that sometimes i find myself just walking around the house holding her.
All bunnies are different. Ours doesn't like beds. He rips apart anything soft, cardboard, and toys. But, he loves to be picked up!! He comes to us to be pet and picked up. He's a New Zealand white, and he's turning 8 years in June.
You are very sweet and gentle❤ thank you for your advice😇🥰
You are a very sweet beautiful woman. I love women who treat bunnies 🐰 well. Real men have rabbits for pets by the way 💪🏼 🐰. First date if she doesn’t like bunnies I’m leaving her with the bill and taking off to snuggle my bunnies
This is a very helpful video, thank you! I didnˋt know about the „two hands sliding from the head“-method before and it makes supporting the back much easier.
i’m so glad! just something i picked up at shelters when there’s no time to waste chasing bunnies around!
amazing video 😮😮 i learned something new today !
Hello ! That was very helpful, thank you ❤
so glad it was helpful!
so wholesome😂❤
Thank you
One of my bunny really hate being picked up so i try to work around it but he needs to go to the vet. So when i pick him but he goes nuts, he will do anything until i Let him go. He doesnt bite but will fight with all he has and i don’t know how to hold him Because hes so sippery.
❤❤❤❤ you guys doings an amazingly Jobs ❤❤
Your video helps me a lot 🙏 Thank you.. I just bought two jersey wooly rabbits, they're now with me for about 1 month plus.. when i bought them, they're about 2 months old (according to the shop😬) .. I'll try to practice and follow what you've shown on the video ☺️ it's really confuse, stressful me and my son everytime try to clean or grooming them😬.. maybe they not let is do it yet 😬
i’m glad it was helpful! continue doing your research - rabbits are very hard work but also very rewarding. wishing you the best!
My rabbit is getting increasingly sassy with clawing at cloths and sometimes skin... any suggestions. Usually she will stop if i get on the floor with her.
I have a very anxious bun and I pick him up like this too. He will probably run around a bit first, cause he _always_ notices when I'm about to pick him up and it's really stressful for him. But when I get him to the head bap we're fine ☺️ great video!
they always know what’s up! glad to hear this method works for you and your bun!
My cat only likes the head on the shoulder baby method. She WON'T allow that craddling with the belly up hold, so i dont even try out of respect for her.
she’s just a baby and wants to be treated as such!!
She’s a shoulder cat!! I also have one who’s a shoulder cat but he’s like 15lbs so he gets really heavy really fast😂❤
Boa noite. Me vende um pouco de xixi de coelho?
That sounds stupid
