I was fortunate enough that my bun loved me from first time he had seen me. The first day he flopped next to my legs. Not that he's really social, he's pretty much used only to my husband and me. But even after 4 years we still struggle to pick him up, when I have to cut bun's nails then the only options are tricking him into the bathroom with treats or picking him up while he's napping. So even if your rabbit is comfortable with you they might still not like being held and that's okay. I don't like if someone holds me too.
My bunny came and layer by me on the first day to
Same as me!!
What I do with my boy when I need to clip his nails, is I get a bowl and mix treats with hay. He’s very, VERY fidgety when it comes to nail clipping but it’s gotten to the point where I can clip his front paws if he has treats to distract him and he now tolerated it. Getting him okay with having his back feet clipped is a whole ‘nother story tho! 😂😂❤
That’s luck!
Ur so lucky… mine likes me I think… I want him to love me and listen to me..got any tips??
I just got my bunny yesterday and we named her Honeybun. She’s been flopping on her side and sprawling so it’s very comforting to know she’s doing okay in those moments
The bond I share with my rabbit is unlike any other bond I’ve shared with an animal. He is my first love and my whole world, and the best thing about it is that other people can see how close we are. He follows me everywhere, binkies and head tosses when he sees me (sometimes) and comes running up to me. He also LOVES sitting on my shoulder, so our vets call him a parrot bunny and joke that he’s actually related to parrots 😂 I had to take him to the vets for a health check last week and the vet said she could see how much he trusts me because he was very happy on my shoulder ❤
That's beautiful! I would love a free roaming bunny but I have 2 young children. 4 and 6 and I think it would scare a bunny. But I will 1000% get one in the future. I have 6 guinea pigs and love them but can't free roam them x
for some reason my bunny only loves me, follows me everywhere and does not do that with others
This has been most helpful. I recently rescued a rabbit who has spent most her life in a shelter and she is very stand offish to me. I let her smell me and if she turns away I leave her alone. Lately she has been nudging my hand when I get her treats and today she ate out of my hand. Something she has never done before. Baby steps and this helped with things I didn't understand about rabbits. Thank you for the helpful tips!
i have had 16 rabbits over the last 35+ years. They were all with me from 8 weeks to 6 months old until they passed as very old happy rabbits. I find your tips very accurate and you have an engaging personality unlike others that want to judge what is done without knowing the individual rabbit. All rabbits are different just like people, they all have their own distinct personalities. Thank you for educating people correctly on how to have free roaming rabbits. Currently i have 2 rabbits that I can pet even in their blind spots and they beg for it. My oldest 6 1/2 year old bunny guards my bedroom door at night and almost attacked my youngest son when he still lived at home. It was very funny as Chilly started to turn and run when my son entered the room but then turned around and for the first time he growled , lol at my son. My son immediately said Chilly it's just me then Chilly let him pet him. They treated each other like brothers and Chilly trust him like a brother but Chilly is my guard dog, it's so funny to witness. Again Thank You for the appropriate training on how to handle your rabbit to start out.
Only 6 months old? My rabbit became almost 10 years. He was big when I got him..
@@amandamorgan2802 I think what they mean is they adopted the rabbits first aged between age 8 weeks to 6 months, not dying at 6 months ^^
I love seeing so much of Cinnabun! I could watch her 24/7 :)
When are you going to cook and eat the rabbit.
but your bunny would get sad
When we want to pet our bunnies, we always stick our hand out slowly for them to see and let them sniff it first. They always let us know if they’re ready for pets. They either nudge their head under our hand or they turn away. If they turn away, we don’t force it. Good video!
My partner and I have adopted a bunny with a bone structure mutation caused by biological experiments aimed at making these adorable animals 'cuter' and smaller. It has been a tough time for us as we try to understand how to care for her. We also have two rescued cats. We are good parents to our animals, but having a bunny is particularly challenging-especially when your pet has a physical disability. Thank you for your tips. ❤ P.S. We considered having surgery, but we truly didn't want to add more stress to our bunny's life. We've done everything possible to create an accessible environment for her.
Cinnabun is an adorable bunny 🐰 🐇! She enjoys being petted and just with you so much! Have a great Sunday, Cinnabun! Bunnies 🐰 RULE!
I am glad that I can pick up my bun and even rub under her chin and sometimes even near the tummy. She trusts me a lot. It took about 3 months to get where we are now and yes. It was worth it. She follows and boops me at least 20x a day now. She also loves long petting sessions on the couch. ❤
Thank you so much for the help! My bunny is anti-social but when i did what you said, my bunny started to actually come near me and trust me!
These days I was in a bad position with my bunny. It's been 1 week since she was spayed and she want to know nothing about me. I was watching your videos these days and I was soooo sad because I don't have a bond with her anymore after being spayed. She was like a different bunny. So agressive and sassy. She always was doing whatever she wanted about the spots she was forbidden to go haha but since being spayed she was much worse. So all being said...i did a thing TODAY....treats...buying some treats. I have her heart now...She's like she have been before...I don't know what I did haha (I was giving her treats before too but I am a new bunny mom and I needed a little bit of researching). So I want to thank you a lotttt, Cinnabun Mom :) You have my heart for this!
New Rabbit owner here !🤣 I welcomed my english angora about a month ago. He will be 1 in August. Super helpful video!! I just want to love him so much but knowing his signs (flicking me off haha) is super helpful! I will definitely try all of the tips and tricks
My bunny turned 2 months old yesterday and this will help alot for the future. As we grow together. 😊
Your videos are helping so much… I just got my baby but I feel less lost on how to help her feel safe and like this is her home too❤
I’m adopting a 5 year old Lop from the humane society on Tuesday so this is so helpful!
My buns i should be getting from RSPCA are VERY shy so this is quite helpful as I visited them today and saw how scared they seemed so tysm
My rabbit milo unfortunately passed away the summer of last year 😔but I still love to watch ur videos, all the love and cuddles for Cinnabun ❤❤❤!
Best video I have seen on this subject! Morgan you are so encouraging and clear and helpful! Thank you! ❤
Wow, thank you!
100% agree! Especially with the "not chasing" part. Every other video like this always tells you HOW to pick up the rabbit, but NEVER covers the part where you have to be able to get close enough to even try it... Thank you, Morgan.
The content is exquisite as always. I don’t know if you do this on purpose or it’s simply how you naturally speak, but there’s something audibly pleasing about the sharp click when you pronounce anything with a T on the end of the word. It just adds to the high quality vibe of your videos, from your personal aesthetic to the editing to the queen herself, Her Majesty Cinnabun. 👑 I would love to do this idea for Guinea pigs, because when you said “my rabbit wants nothing to do with me [‘I’m here to help’]” I couldn’t help but laugh because I have 3/4 Guinea pigs who want nothing to do with me but still want my attention at all times, especially when I step into my kitchen. Once again, but as I say for the first time in 2023, I say thank you for being a wonderful Bunny Guardian to Cinnabun. Give the Queen a good nose rub for me!
I have loved watching and learning from this channel. He trusts me he just hates being picked up haha :p xx
Hi Morgan this is Reagan I am a11year old girl, and I have a 3 year old albino bunny named Buddy, and I love hime so much he free roams in my room when I am not home but when I am home he free roams around my house.
I'm 10 years old and I just got a forever home. And my mom finally said I can get my albino bunny neutered! But I can't spay my two girl bunnies.😢 I share a room with my sis. But I'm going to give my bunnies some of my room. But right now they live outside and I feel sooo bad for them😢
I got my first bunny a could of months ago and I would just like to thank you about how much your videos have helped me.
I'm so glad!
My bunbun Kiwi, that i got around 10 days ago, is kinda "naive" in a way. Everything that you see on the internet about bunnies taking time to trust you, is not really her (not to say that the facts are wrong, its just that every bunny is different!). When i first met her i layed on the floor and kinda just waited for her to climb on me or come to me on her own. From that point on, I would say we formed a bond. Every time I let her out of her cage she runs up to me and jumps on my lap. Im really thankful for her.
I love my rabbits so much I can’t imagine ever losing them . Came to me when I was at my lowest.. also with at my highest ❤️❤️
I always pet my bunny and tell him I’m gonna pick him up. If he stays he accepts, and he’s totally relaxed when I pick him up, every time. If he doesn’t want to be picked up he’ll move about a feet when I tell him, and I wont. Didn’t take long for us to learn that, and he accepts being picked up about 6/10 times.
So Happy to have you back! Totally addicted to all of your series! Recently bought a bun for my daughter and we've learned so much from your content. Thank you
You have really informative videos. I love that you are positive. Keep up the good work. 😊
im glad you have this channel 😩 im trying to learn alot before getting a bunny tomorrow and your channel has taught me alot🙌🏽thank you girly
I love this video! So much good information and confirmation that I'm reading my bunny's body language correctly (like the bunny cold shoulder and being flipped off by foot flicks😂). Thank you for talking about respecting our bunny's wishes and feelings❤
Thank you so much for being such an amazing person 💗 You're the reason I currently own two adorable bunnies!
My bunny only hides…wants absolutely nothing to do with us 😂 but he’s so good at escaping his pen! We are constantly having to go find him and pick him up and I feel awful because I can tell he hates it
Great video! One of your best, I think. So informative and realistic!
Cinnabun is an absolute sweetheart 💖 Love the tips! 🐰
Hiiiii learned everything from you he lived in a cage and then he had a whole room and we are looking to by him a friend cause i am only there every other week
I'm glad I saw this bc I might get a bunny this Thursday or Friday so thank you I wanted a bunny for like 3 years and I'm so happy
Can you do a video on signs your bunny needs to go to the vet and maybe one on how to clean out their ears?
I love your vlogs bc they show that you don't have to be a farmer to own a rabbit and they show that the freeroam lifestyle is really cool! But you were starting to do a lot of vlogs, routines, etc.and I was missing your good old fashioned rabbit care videos, so I'm SO happy and thrilled that they're back! They are the reason I'm subscribed!😁I finally got my rabbit out of a cage and into a playpen bc I learned that cages aren't good from Lorelei and Lennon and altogether my rabbit has a pretty good life even tho I sadly cannot do the freeroam lifestyle. Even tho my rabbit has a great life I still can learn more from other bunny youtubers and altogether we can all learn from each other! That is why I love rabbit care videos!
This video was so so so helpful thank you so much. I have 2 bunnies and they are very shy and this video showed me how to truly get my rabbits to trust me.
This video was so helpful, thank you! I didn't know about the back turning! And love the name Cinnibun ❤️
Wow! you've really stepped up your videos. The editing is just chef's kiss! Thank you for educating us morgan :)
It was super helpful, I am on a educational KZhead search, because I will babysit 2 Rabbits of my friends. And I want to take good care of them. And identifying and learning some of the rabbit behavior to look out for will hopefully help me to not stress them and make them feel comfortable around me 😄🐇🐇 So thank you for the Tipps 👍
Hi Morgan! Thank you for this video! Love you guys!
I'm looking after my adult daughter's rabbit for a bit and was worried I'm getting it wrong. This was so informative and helpful! I had no idea about the blind spot. Thank you. Happy to say the wee girl often climbs on me and nudges.
Very very helpful
I love this video, it is so helpful. Thanks Morgan!
Thank you your tips actually work I feel very proud of myself like I have achieved something big 🙏
Hello! My rabbits died last week when they were about to turn 2, so we got 2 new baby ones! It was very interesting and a very helpful video, hope it works!
Very helpful thanks, my american chinchilla rabbit had him for 2 years now and it's still a working progress as far as him letting me hold him.
Great video, I'm going to get my husband to watch this so he can understand why one of my bunnies are afraid and how to get her to trust him, this video was perfect timing 👌 💗🐇
Cinnabun loves you so much and she is so cute!!🐇🐇 This video really helped me learn about rabbits so i just typed every word you said. You are so good at explaining and an excellent bunny/rabbit caretaker!!🐰🐇🐰🐇💝💖💝💞 You are so helpful with all your videos and teach me many good things about rabbits!!!
Thank u so much I’ve learned a lot. Keep safe always and please do more videos about bunnies 😊 ❤ love from the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤
I love this style of bunny content pls do more ❤
I was actually afraid my bunny wouldn't like me, but this video definitely shows me otherwise! Thank you so much for making this video!
This video really reassure me with my bunny, i rescue are from the street in june 2022, and didnt had a bunny since i was like 10 yo so didn't know how two act but completely fall in love with her little face ( she's lop like cinnabun). At first i tought i will never gain her trust she was so stress and never want to approach, but i start to research to understand her more, and now i can say she really comfortable around us and show are real personnality such a good reward after all this times. I didn't think i will adopt a bunny but now i want more hahaah such lovely animal
Hi Morgan !!!! Hi CB!!!! Love ya guys!
Thanks for the advice
Thank you so much! I needed this!
Loads of help 😊
Another great video, Morgan! Thank you very much. And I really appreciate all of the time and effort that you put into these. I really appreciate that you don’t show the same photos and clips over and over and over. A lot of people do this and when you watch a channel on a regular basis, it becomes monotonous. I really appreciate the extra effort that you put into your channel that you always offer fresh, new footage and photos. That’s gotta take a lot of time and effort! Thank you.
Brilliant presentation !
this is so informative thank you!
Thank you for this rabbit video it will help me very much
This will help alot, ty!
Helpful. Thanks.
thank you for all the helpful info. sometimes I just feel like my bunny is just so independent they like don't even like me.😀
Ahahah I love her. Living their best life with their rabbit 😊
I just got two baby bunnys yesterday, one seems to trust me and will cuddle in any position but the other likes to explore and doesn’t really come up to me much, so thank you this helped a lot ✨✨
So lovely 😍
Cinnabun was my bunny’s name too, sweet.
what Morgan doesn't mention is that your rabbit might get so comfortable with you that it will demand to be pet at all waking hours. If you even dare to walk into the room without a treat it will thump right in front of you. You will wake up at 4 am to a rabbit training for the 5 meter sprint. Maybe that's just my bun
Love your videos 🎉❤
merci tes conseils fonctionnent a merveille 😁
Great information!!!
This video helped me a lot thank you so much.
Thanks so much I really needed to learn because a got a bunny that is 2 months old my sister has a 1 year old and this time it helped me so much just watching this
I'm happy that I did great from the beginning with my baby. Found in the street, she was about 6 months. So I was scared she would not trust me as if I had her since she's a baby. As we were getting to know each other, I sat on the floor for days, just doing my things and didn't pay too much attention to her. She was to one who came by me, waiting for me to pet her. And now, I don't have any kisses from her, but she knows if she lays her head to me, she'll have cheeks scratches and she loooooves that. I only pick her up when it's necessary. She let me take her but she's very uncomfortable. I'm not sure she loves me, but at least, I'm her food and cuddle slave. 😂 I love her and her cat temper anyway ❤️
I was searching for a complete video on rabbit care and suddenly I got your channel. Thanks a lot for your explanation dear ❤️ Love from India🇮🇳🐰
I have been thinking about getting a rabbit. I have had numerous pets but this video has really had an impact on me as to how to press forward. Thank you.
Please continue to watch her videos as well as Lennon the bunny. Bunnies are a lot of work and can be very fragile. There is so much to learn about them and their care.
@@shawnaaustin3396 agreed, " Sincerely, Cinnabun" and "Lennon The Bunny" are both so awesome at explaining and teaching us special things that are useful to us and our rabbits =)
My buns died 2 days ago, both of them loved me so much and would crawl up on me and sit on my lap. RIP BEBE AND FLUFFY ❤
Really thank you so much!
This was SUPER GOOD I LOVE UR CHANNEL! IT HELPS soooooooooo muchhhhhh!!!!!! 😊❤😂
Your bunny is so cute!!!
Good video. Thanks for sharing
omg your bunny is soooo adorable!! I really liked this video, it was very interesting and presented so well. I don’t have a rabbit but love learning about them :D
Thank you so much!!

TY this helped me sm!
I'm so grateful for these videos. We just got a new baby Holland Lop and she really seems scared and I want to let her know how safe she is with us. My daughter and I are watching everyone of your videos right now.
How is she now mine is very scared and hides 24/7 he doesn’t come out of under the bed runs at every little sound doesn’t drink water how do h get him to approach u
Thank you so much for these tips i kinda knew half of them tbh
Very interesting, We had two bunnies, a brother and sister. HE, Theodore passed awa Some times she can really be funnyyin Nov. She was so lossed, i thought she would pass from a broken heart. But she, Abigail came out of it and seemed to be OK after a month or so. She just turned 9 years old on Easter Sunday.
Great video!
tysm i bought rabbits like 4 days ago and ive been seeing the same signs that u showed in this vid, i wish i can gain their trust!
Love this video👌🏻thanks a lot
You're so welcome!
love your video!
My neighbor threw out 3 Giant Flemish rabbits during a hurricane. Took myself and few others about two weeks after to catch them as they were terrified of us. We ended up keeping one and the other two went to the humane society as they had babies. Thumper is still weary of us but lately he likes coming out of his room and checking out the rest of the house.
Hi Morgan! This channel is so helpful for me! I am hoping to get a bunny within the next year or so…your videos have helped me a lot :))
My rabbit Libby must be unique then, because she loves a full body massage. Sides back, even tail.
Cute cuddly snuggly rabbit, and wow beautiful owner❤
Dear Morgan, I know it is none of my business and I mean this respectfully: Your facial features are absolutely gorgeous and you have a lovely, authentic, sincere aura. You don't need the filler, you radiate on your own.
My bunny just died and my sister got a new bjnny the same day. Im still sad and grieving but the bond isnt there like it was for moki(my bunny that passed). I guess MJ(the new bunny) is more anxious and jumpy so it would take more time to gain his trust
