We have been getting a lot of the same questions from viewers so thought it was time we did our first Q&A video. Kurtis answers a lot of the frequently asked questions so you will find out the Safety Officer's name, does he get metal in his paws? Find out about the workshop history, a bit of a tour on our most used machines in the shop, how Kurtis got started in the industry and his background. And the most asked question will you get to see the camera girl? We also wanted to say Thank You to all our viewers and subscribers and show our 100K subscriber KZhead silver creator award play button that we received! Plus we make an exciting announcement for the launch of our merch shop!

    • Are you interested in doing a collaboration with any other KZheadrs? If you were, who'd ya think you'd wanna hang out with?

      @MattMetalbelly@MattMetalbelly3 жыл бұрын
    • @@MattMetalbelly I will hazard an answer for Kurtis. Disclaimer, I am not authorised to make any such comment but I am making this comment because I think I have a bit of measure of Kurtis. He mentioned that he watches IC Weld because Issac does similar heavy equipment repairs primarily out on the job site. I also watch Issac and I reckon that the best collaboration would be if Kurtis went on a Working Holiday to Texas. I can picture it now, a busted up excavator needing a boom and or dipper repair and a pin rebore. Yeah, that excavator wouldn’t know what had hit it when Issac and Kurtis arrive to get it back into good working order. Man, that would be one sweet video to watch, but it would have to wait until the world gets COVID 19 under control and people are allowed to travel once again.

    • I totally agree. And Curtis - when you reach a million plus subs, you might find it a little less inconvienient and anoying making the vids, when you get a little more payback from KZhead. Not being educated conventionally I commend your skills and knowledge even if I dont have any knowledge within you trade other than having been watching others machining when I was in my teens (50 years ago LOL). Keep up the good work its very entertaining - both of you.

    • @Adrian Harwood, most self taught craftsmen have two things going for them, one is a love for what they do, otherwise they wouldn't spend the time and money learning how to do what they want to do on the machinery that they've bought. Two is intelligence because if they make a mistake, the money comes out of their own pocket so they've got to learn fast and find solutions to the problems that they face. I'm sure that Kurtis has watched other people do the stuff that he's now doing and if he comes across a problem, he's got people who he can phone to ask their advice. The only difference is that he didn't sit in a classroom or college workshop with other people, learning how to change a tool or take measurements. I've done it both ways and I prefer to teach myself, it sticks in my brain!

  • I'm a middle-aged (and then some!) IT guy, sitting here with a glass of red wine enjoying another CEE video. So much respect for you both as business people for starting up and running a succesful business purely from your own efforts. I thought you were possibly filming around other camera-shy employees but, to see that you're a one-man-band in the workshop - huge respect! Keep up the great work and see you here again soon for the 250k subscribers video.

  • I totally understand how much pain it can be when you're trying to work and somebody with a camera is getting in your way. But I really appreciate that you put up with that, your videos are great and wouldn't exist without it. One thing I really like on your videos is that they go right to the point, there's no ballast. It's been a plague on KZhead recently and it's really refreshing to see something that's not polluted like the rest. Thank you for it, keep up the good work.
