  • Social media has an almost immediate impact on the way we think, and react. I noticed this after joining tiktok. After leaving tiktok, I noticed a change in the way I interact with people and my thought processes. Social media divides us, makes us combative to alternative points of view. It forces us into a group think mentality.

When things reach a certain point, sweeping it under the rug all over again (whatever it is) doesn't help in the long run. Gotta embrace what you have and build. Especially where the past is concerned.. That saying"it is what it is": doesn't mean it ever has to be that way again. Just depends on what you know, pass down and are willing to let go of. Humanity betrays itself and sadly seems to revel in it. I've always believed it wouldn't always be like that. Change is a season with a cycle of it's own. Steady hands be damned.

  • You didn't mention the insidious practice of gaslighting. Used extensively by governments, organisations and especially in domestic abuse. The power lies in not only causing the victim to question their own reality but also the supporting society surrounding the victims to question the victim's sanity. This could be applied to one victim in a relationship, thus causing a web of more victims who become caught up in the gaslighting or indeed societies as a whole, all from one person and their agenda.

      @madhatter2308@madhatter23082 жыл бұрын
    • @@madhatter2308 People who feel like black sheep and have no support from someone outside the coercion bubble seem to be targeted by and weak to gaslighting. Intimate relationships are often actually intimate, between only two people. However, when one partner is disingenuous or narcisistic, one of them can be memory wiped from the trauma, like the dogs left to almost drown, and then not even have their personal past coping mechanisms to resist more manipulation with. Relationship based gaslighting makes a person live in two states at once, a quantum mental state where the relationship is both dead and alive depending upon the caprice of the present perspective. Your lover is your persecutor, is your savior, and enemy of your state of mind.

I caught Covid and it was the worst experience of my life and I have lived with chronic pain and hepatitis C for 30 years and I have a history of spontaneous pneumothorax. While Covid appeared to have no effect on my lungs, the burning Covid pain was unbearable and the things I felt I had never felt before. I began staying home before the shutdown because I had been watching what was happening in China. Then I Iet my guard down after I was vaccinated and friends were telling me I was unlikely to catch Covid outside in the fresh air. They couldn’t have been more wrong. I’ve been a free spirit that has lived with very little fear most of my life despite having had bomb threats on my house when I was a child it because my mother was a civil rights activist and white supremacists didn’t like that. Dark persuasion is a society that kidnapped Africans, brutally enslaved them and after “freeing” refused to pay reparations but instead continues to abuse ADOS.

Where certain, "older" bands have used us as "Guinea pigs" to practice their illegal redundant, illegal, "overly emotional sound" over unused emergency streams. This has been prove as causing serious harm to our brains, immunity systems and personalities. A is marketing. B is more like communism/mob rule. The term brain washing could be both A and B. When the word coercive is added, it denotes that a person does not want to do it, did not consent, is FORCED or is somehow very stressed by it. Did you see the New York Times smear article about Elon Musk by the way. That was quite interesting and the timing of course coincides with is purchasing Twitter. Society, government, media (mainstream and alternative), religion, school, employment, friends, family give you the words, the concepts and values to understand the world, without which you would be no more rational than a dog. You cannot protect your pure independent mind from any kind of external influence - your mind and beliefs are products of external influence. If I had a kid today I’d work with other concerned parents to work together to homeschool, where maybe combined we each only need to teach half a day so we could still have jobs AND undestroyed minds of our kids….

  • Thank you so much for this interview. it was very informative. As a side observation, I find it interesting to note how many people wish for the "good old days" of the 50's and 60's, yet these horrific experiments that go against basic human decency were going on, unbeknownst to the American public. Perhaps one of the lessons is to stop looking back on the past with rose colored glasses but, rather, learn from it... break the old patterns... and start to unravel the effects of manipulation in order to begin creating better days. One thing that would be interesting for Mr Dimsdale to study is the question: What can we do as individuals to avoid the manipulation going on Social Media and the current algorithms that feed tunnel vision? I know for me, once I saw how the algorithms took over my Social Media feed when it comes to politics, I subscribed to news outlets from all spectrums of the political polarity lines. It took about a week to balance out. When it skewed again, I asked myself why, how? Then I realized that if I liked different posts from people who had strong political views, the algorithm assumed I shared those political views (which I don't necessarily), and that skewed my feed once again. I'm wondering what would happen if Social Media algorithms were constricted to show a more balanced news feed? Would that help against creating tunnel vision? I don't have an opinion on it. I'm simply posing the question. At any rate, thank you for sharing this interview. You've given me food for thought.

When you're relying on your caregivers for survival, you have to create a dualty of sorts because you know they're harming you, but the better your relationship or "behavior" is, sometimes it results in less awful treatment. I think part of surviving is figuring out how (if it is possible) to have a working relationship with your captor(s) can help you survive in some cases. So you have to "drink the Koolaid" to process the purely traumatic reality you're in.

A few years i lost my instincts by training me towards a 'social fitting individual' but at the end it failed. Knowledge and truth seeking and wanting to know why people do what they do saved my soul. Set me free in my head. I have i think aspergers also and i come from very far. I worked towards wanting to know stuff. I got more then i expected. I did not expect what the outcome would be. I thought i would function better, like others do. But i realise i function better not coping the others. I had to find how i function better and what i need to function better. But now, it makes me feel that i wasted my time to 'fit in'. And lost the best years of my life, to just live MY LIFE, not others life.

I respectfully ask because, I too cannot be hypnotized nor do I follow the same path as others who are easily persuaded. I feel one set of voters not saying which group, are victims of mind control because their beliefs are so outrageous and even though I once knew them as normal, I feel they are caught up in something they have no control over. So yes, I think social media has polarized political views.

    • Try and push the definition of brainwashing a bit closer to its logical extreme for an intriguing quest : Words, definitions, meanings: All acquired through life as you werent born with any of em - Yet, those terms n definitions do cause emotional reactions based on the inner-logic tied to them---yet as you noticed in your life, definitions change, things become acceptable and others dont as "society" deems it. Yet you still- were not born with any of it, thus initially, never reacted to any of it in the first place. So what gets you to react now? Social conditioning And yeah, we're reaching a point where this song and dance is becoming more obvious.

  • Thank you @UCTV for sharing: Joel thank you for teaching me the characteristics of coercive persuasion. I wish you'd have a look at what happened in France in 2020-2021. It really looks like a large scale coercive experimentation. First there were the Gilets Jaunes protests that were repressed with brutal force at least une woman died, many lost an eye or a hand, arbitrary arests, etc in 2018-2019... Then came the pandemic and lockdowns (hence isolation of the population) with the insidious message on all mainstream media of the number of contaminated and deaths (violence) and at the same time the promess of freedom if vaccinated (the caress) and now the health pass is mandatory and the message that if the pandemic goes on its the fault of the non-vaccinated. 2022 is time of the presidential election, the French society has been brainwashed, racism and hatred is on the rise. I think the situation is worth studying with an expert eye. I fear the worse for France and Europe. France is part of G7 and influential worldwise. Best regards

Of course one would hope people are curious enough to wonder about where info is coming from, lots of people don't seem to question things. Currently there is a rumor that food production facilities are being burnt, it keeps going around and around, nobody has bothered to look up data over years on how many facilities had fires each year to know what is regular accidental fires as opposed to an REAL uptick. People don't care what is real. If you watch social media closely you can see people swarm online before an event, you can see Antifa coordinate attacks/direct action mobs. Look at the mobs that came out in Chicago, one was at "the loop" then ended up beating a bus driver for no reason. If social media is creating violent mobs then perhaps it needs to be monitored.
