Lucky me, I got to rebuild my Hydrostatic Pump over the winter of 2022-2023 off my T320. The right side was trashed from running with no oil due to a blown O-ring on the gear pump face. Expensive rebuild, but still cheaper than buying a new or rebuilt pump. So while this video came out after I was done, this was exactly what you do.
I always enjoy watching and learning from your content. I work for a rental fleet that’s Primarily Bobcat equipment, I’ve referenced serval of your videos while diaging equipment. Just wanted to say thanks and I’m always looking forward to the next video!
Same when I used to work at Synergy equipment
Very helpful and educational video 2👍🏼👍🏼
So i dont have these parts in my hand but as a toolmaker I would hope that some, maybe all of these wear parts could be made. Some tools beyond a mill and lathe you may need are an id od grinder and tools to measure a high resolution of tolerance. You may also need to farm out some edm or wire work for the hardened parts and heat treat will need to be outfitted or farmed out
Parabéns pelo trabalho 🇧🇷
Useful!
I’ve put silicone over the high pressure relief valve plug to keep it from rusting 😊😊
Brilliant videos i have a 553 2006 model its split the casting on the hydraulic pump tonight i thought id blew a pipe under the seat but thats whats happened why would this happen has me totally confused
Please do a video on the M46 servo assist hydrostatic pump. A bunch of us still rock the older iron like the 873 C and F series
Very good
Looks like I’m leaking out of the top of the left side of the machine pump. Can I just replace the seal while in the machine?
Well timed video for me as my right side drive is seemingly losing strength. I can direct my mechanic to this video as a baseline; and possibly have him at least check the Hydraulic Pressure relief valves and for wear on the valve plate and swash plates. S185
If these pumps drive your wheels? What supplies pressure to your axillary lines? Example., What pumps pressure to spin the blades of a rotary cutter / Brush cutter? (Bobcat 863G)
Very smart
Would like to see a tear down of an R series manual control machine. Haven’t had to do one yet. Just had to do one on an SJC R series machine. Assume it’s not too much different.
Thanks!
Thanks Again!
Surgery here guys so clean
I have a Bobcat T190 when I open the 4 in 1 bucket it starts to close by itself what could be the problem
Tack!
Thanks so much for the support!
I have a small bobcat loader S70 it seems to be very slow lifting or tilting the bucket and also weak struggles to lift half a bucket of dirt, however driving forward or backward it is strong and quick no issues at all, would this be a problem with the pump or maybe hydraulic control valve looking for some help thanks Frank
I am getting a mid tone whining sound from my hydrostatic pump could this mean there is air in the line? I have a Bobcat 440b
Thank you so much for a excellent video. I have an old JD 125H I'm about to tear into. I'm worried about parts for it because it's so old. If the trust plate washer is worn on one side, can it be flipped to the other side if no parts available for it?
Did you get an answer on flipping it, or did you do it to see what happened? I'm thinking the same thing
Where in Kenya do I get parts?
One doubt how to check hydrostatic pump pressure pls help me
Is there a way to fill or prime the pump after install so it doesn’t start dry?
Ya, the cartridge filter usually behind the seat has a large rubber hose to the pump.Remove the house going to the pump and dump a couple of quarts and you should be good.
Can you flip that thin swash plate and use the other side?
Thats what I was wondering also.
I love how these companies work, they make it too expensive to fix your own bought and owned property yourself. Pump needs a few parts and you might as well buy a whole new pump. Ridiculous. Someday the only people who will be able to afford equipment at all will be huge companies.
I work at a lawn mower shop, we run into this with the hydrostatic drives on them. The manufacturer tells you to tear it down amd see what's wrong with it but then you can't get parts to fix it, so you have to replace the unit.
In fairness, bobcat doesn't have a lot of say in this. Sauer Dan Foss makes the pump, Bobcat is just buying complete units themselves. If Sauer won't sell individual parts, Bobcat can't sell them either.
It’s all ready that way to put small businesses out of business 😢😢😢
👍
How can I become your apprentice?, will move from Canada
When you have to watch a bobcat tech tear apart pumps and motors to see how they work and come apart to try and figure out how to fix a jcb( which the pumps and motors look almost identical btw) because there is no videos on a jcb
How to remove it??
Good content but in reality those slippers on the pistons could be lapped, same with the pistons and the cylinder and the valve plate. Effectively putting the pump back to good working condition for far less than a rebuild pump.
Спасибо большое.если можно зделай видео про хайфловый насосс
They don’t want us rebuilding anything these days 😢😢😢
