The Lg 32gq950-b price went back up to $1300 so if u looking for a great oled 4k uhd check the lg 48GQ900-B it's $1500 but it's on sale rn for $999 0.3ms response time 120hz it's simply a great it's sold out in my region waiting for them to restock

I actually just bought this monitor at the end of December, 2022. I prefer the size of 27 inch monitors so I went with the 4K 28inch model. For whatever reason (end of the year sale?), it was only $649 at the time, and was actually cheaper than the G70A which was $749. I honestly thought I was buying a B-tier monitor and that it was somehow lower quality. Had no clue it was the next generation model. I had a 4K 60hz monitor I was looking to replace as my main display, and it’s really been a great experience so far in terms of picture quality and response time for gaming on the PS5 and my PC. In terms of the OS, it’s kind of new and awkward for me. I’ve never had a monitor with its own remote and OS, and in a weird way it’s almost closer to being a smart TV. I like how much control you have and all the settings you get to play with, but sometimes I’m not sure if it’s a better product for having it. Like when I switch inputs or just between apps, the small settings screen sometimes pops up at the bottom of the monitor randomly. Not at all an issue, even a cool feature at times since I can see my FPS on my PS5 with it, but there is 100% a learning curve to using it. Overall, for $649, I feel like I got a great monitor given the specs and experience so far. If it ever comes back down to this price, I feel it could be a very competitive option compared to other monitors with similar specs. PS - local dimming is no bueno. I just turned it off. Think it might be 8 or 16 zones??

- how is the input lag on it?, i saw rtings reviewed the 32 inch model and gaming at 60hz has pretty bad input lag, i game on console so games like nba 2k only run at 60hz. i was looking at getting the 28 inch model, your insight would be awesome

- I just bought G70B 28 inch for 530€ (Still have AOC monitor, but needed HDMI 2.1 for PS5). Decided to go with 28 inch instead of 32 because my desk is not the biggest and I find huge screens a bit distracting to work (besides reading code). I can leave my thoughts after I get it if you guys are still interested.

Just got this monitor and I absolutely love it! Display beautiful, nice color settings, speakers are good not great, love that you can use it as a streaming device, streaming gaming services work with a good Internet connection. I've watched KZhead TV looks awesome. Only con I would say is the HDR is whatever.

- @@amalgam9635 so far no issues. You can play with the settings. But I haven't adjusted anything. I have no complaints so far. It's not oled bright but it's good for gaming.

Regarding samsung g7 odyssey 28” 4k flat monitor…. Is there remote controller included in the box? And can we operate it as a tv with a samsung or universal remote? And do they have built-in speakers?

G70B is on sale right now for $629. I had to pull the trigger and I’m glad I did. For the money it’s crazy good. Happy customer

Thank you for the review, but I have a few remarks. The build quality of the stand is just appropriate. It makes the monitor much lighter than the compitition, but it DOES NOT WOBBLE AT ALL UNLESS YOU TOUCH IT. But why should anyone touch the monitor at all unless you wanted to change the height. And then it just wobbles as long as you are changing the height. You should look at aspects that you have to deal with everyday, but touching the monitor is not one of those aspects. Given the fact that I bought it for 659 Euro from Samsung directly instead of paying minimum 1399 Euro for the LG (amazon) makes the LG look like a ripp-off. And the own OS can never be a con. You may not want to use it, but how could it be a con? Besides that, those Smart Monitor features make the LG and all others look like outdated devices. It is a TV, a computer and a monitor at the same time. Simply unique. Oh, have I mentioned the wireless connectivity options?😊

the LG monitor is really not on sale anywhere reasonable (Beach Camera?). Also, Amazon seems to be selling a lot of returned LGs right now for some reason... This Samsung G70B was on sale at Amazon about a week ago for $799 but could not pull the trigger because there were no reviews on it. I have pretty much decided on the Corsair 32UHD144 just waiting for a price I like at a place I trust.

Having a hard time deciding between this and the LG 32GQ950-B. I recently had to move my home office into my bedroom which made me lose my TV, so hoping this will fill that gap, though I suppose I could hook my Apple TV up to the LG as well. The G70B is $200 less than the LG and thinking that may make the G70B a better buy. Thoughts?

- Yes, I am still waiting for it to be delivered, but I am going to be doing a review of it very soon! Although I will say, it is a 27 inch 1440p monitor rather than a 32 inch 4K panel.

- @@TypeCTechReviews heck yeah! Yeah the 1440p did put a lil bit of hesitation in me. However, I don’t play very demanding games for my pc. I play sims and city builder type games. The most demanding games I have are lost ark, POE, and battlefield. So i feel like maybe I don’t even need the 4k. However, once I plug my ps5 in, my 950 really shines for me! And then makes me wanna keep it lol

A week into ownership of the Samsung G7 70B. It's Phenominal. The remote is super cool (USB-C rechargable) . It makes switching inputs easy and fun. The smart features are pretty cool. I enjoyed watching the NFL Wild Card Games on the Direct TV app on the Smart App Just amazing visuals, the 4K is just amazing. For Madden Football it is perfect. I have been playing Madden Football for most of my adult life on PC, Playstation and X Box. This monitor and my N'Vidia 4070 is perfection. I have my PS5 hooked up to the HDMI 2.1 and its absolutley the best I have ever seen. Its perfect. My PC is connected via the Display Port 1.4 and that is the best input via the 4070 GPU. For non Gaming it makes all images into a super color machine. The Multi HDMI ports is very versatile. The Speaker is a very good one that makes it into a space saver. It has bluetooth which is ultra cool and WiFi, that makes it an automatic Firmware updater without any hassles. The 32 inches is incredible. The LG 32 GQ950 has an edge in the Picture quality. The Samsung is very close. The deciding factor for me is the remote. I dont have to stick my fingers under the monitor everytime I want to switch inputs. I got it for $675 on on Amazon. LG is not a smart monitor.

Just bought the monitor on sale and it’s great honestly but for some reason I have issues connecting it to my PC. It doesn’t detect my DisplayPort even though it works. It also works on my series X. Did you have those issues for PC?

- @@champagneselly70 Yes I don’t know if it is a problem but all I needed to do was connect my old monitor with the G7. Then I went to the settings and set the G7 as my primary monitor. If you have Nvidia go to the settings and make sure the G7 pops up there too.

- @@champagneselly70 See if the monitor is updated. Also you have to manually go to the display port pressing the buttons on the monitor if it doesn’t go to the display port automatically.

Awesome review. I had the LG 32GQ950 and watching your video made me decide to return the LG and buy the Samsung G7 70B. I was blown away by the LG's picture. However, the only way to change the input is by pressing the joystick under the monitor, I change the input a lot, this was EXTREMELY Annoying and its a very sensitive joystick that is not easy to navigate. The Samsung G7 70B - It has Bluetooth, it has Wi-Fi, has a Remote control it has a very good smart speaker, it has an app. The price in the US is $650 and the LG is $950. At the end of the day, I felt like The LG was missing many of the features that are mainstream on new monitors. That was my bottom line. I didn't want to invest in the LG.

- Neo for hdr, the caveat is that it's curved, which is not for everyone.

I have RTX 4090 + i9 13900k + 64 gb ddr5 6000mhz, monitor gaming 27`` AOC 240hz 0.5ms .... I want to buy a 4k 32`` 144hz monitor and I'm stuck with this one, because it also has g sync, it's hard to find with this option, most of them have amd free sync premium...

- @@M.W.H. if you want to buy, be careful because there are 2 different versions of the G8 Odyssey, the one without Hdr10+ gaming and the one with it, the difference is €300-400

DONT DO unboxing and tell us what you did or is probabaly the same as G6 ... I wasnt with you with the G6 unboxing at least go over and see if there is anything different. I liked this channell but him saying .. just like the G6 ... just feels bad. You didnt give something NEW a full review. annoyed

- He does an unboxing and then spends a week with the monitor and then does a full review when he’s used the monitor for a week. Besides he doesn’t want to make the same video 4 times for each Samsung monitor
