"Ballista" Remote-controlled weapon station

The "Ballista" remote-controlled weapon station can be integrated with a wide range of ground platforms. The system is designed to engage manpower, engineering installations, transporters and aerial targets on the move (including cases, when Ballista's carriers fire during swimming) and at the halt round-the-clock. The station carries a 30mm automatic cannon, a 7.62mm co-axial machine gun and two ready-use anti-tank guided missiles.

  • Some here in the comments criticize the narrator. Of course he doesn't speak brilliant English, but I find it understandable and charming because it's original and authentic. Always better than some crappy generated artificial a.i. voice over, that you hear more and more often... by the way....interesting product in this video!

    • His pronunciation is really fine, 90% of the problem is the poorly mixed audio, with the music too loud and the voice audio volume varying all over the place, bad de-essing, etc.

    • Is good to know that some people have idea to improve weaponry that was produced by Russia and so many are destroyed in Ukraine war. Truth is this war is a game changer and Russian technology is going abroad just for old ammunition or some rocket that almost out of date. Like to see tank Armata or Su-57 in action with Ukraine forces not hidden deep in Russia territory and be dumb by propaganda of greatness.. papers 🎉

  • It would be interesting to see this weapons station on the smallest possible vehicle. With 360 cameras so a single operator can fire and drive.

    • kornet is too expensive and not as widespread for international customers

    • 'Konkurs-M' is significantly lighter and cheaper and has a simpler/cheaper electronics than 'Kornet'. It will be enough for any serial/ordinal IFV, for modernization any of them...

    • @@user-ck9545 , При чём тут Авдеевка? Одна только была что-ли? В зоне СВО Т-14 "Армата" (3-4 штуки) отрабатывали стрельбу с закрытых позиций по координатам и разведке. Работали, как САУ, но связь, разведку и управление отработали, хотя в прямом танковом бою и не участвовали... Так и с другими "изделиями"...

    • Russian weapon systems must work (be tested) in -50 C to +50 C temperature range by a state standard military requirements. All of them, without exceptions.
