Alex Pereira - Destroying the Best Kickboxers, First Double Champion in Glory's Kickboxing History

2022 ж. 10 Шіл.
1 321 877 Рет қаралды

Alex Poatan Pereira is currently a middleweight mma fighter in the UFC but arguably a potential future champion because of his skill set and having hype due to his rivalry with current champion Israel 'The Last Stylebender" Adesanya. This is only a small video on Alex's reign over at Glory, the biggest and best kickboxing organization in the world. At that time Alex was the only kickboxer to have held 2 championship belts in 2 different weight classes (middleweight & light heavyweight). Watch on how dominating Alex was during his reign, with slick striking and scary knockout power.

So it's not crazy, the only difference is He's a natural boxer, watch how a Boxer takes down nearly everyone. What i meant with that is, u have kickboxers who kickbox their entire life and focus their legs and kicks all the time... But never did boxing, which is the basics and the most dangerous part most useful part of the sport. So if u have somebody who started out boxing and has THIS as his basics... I don’t even want to go into detail about what I’m seeing from him I literally typed a synopsis & it ended up being way too long .. so i deleted it 😂 but bro .. the overarching deception that he engaged for multiple rounds .. setting up a left hook that had a high probability to land due to that deception ? 👌🏾👌🏾 Fkn brilliant . It was like he was standing in the pocket .. slightly closer than one would normally permit .. yet he was so comfortable doing so .. slipping punches & studying . Then outta nowhere it torques a left hook from the woodworks .. & there’s no way it will be intercepted because he spent rounds conditioning your brain for HIS perceived range I never seen anything like it honestly. • No he didn't walk him down but he did pull off the rocky and beat him in the 2nd fight. When I said walk him down I am referring to the fight thats about to happen. I feel Alex's power allows him to find more openings. Izzy cannot approach this fight the same as costa or Whittaker cause if he does hell get koed. Also as I mentioned if he approaches this fight like the Jared or yoel fight Alex's skill set, experience, power, mental advantage will over come the point fight and he will find the openings. Gotta remember this guys resume on the feet is very similar to izzy and in some areas even better. Same height reach etc izzy hasn't had that in the ufc other then Anderson and even then he cannot fight that style. The only thing izzy has over him is ufc experience but then Alex's is 2 division kb campion. So if its on the feet I know who I'm picking. Lol
