@@fabyanserrano00 September 14th, 2021 The mini horse Peabody died on September 14th, 2021, as the owners announced on their website. As owner Faith wrote in an Instagram post, “several great vets after a series of tests concluded that Pea’s liver was failing. We are devastated”. So sad to learn this. AT LEAST he had the best life while here! God Bless Him ☺☺

IT'S NOT NORMAL FOR A HORSE TO HAVE HIS TOUNGUE HANDING OUT. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH ANIMALS THAT HUMANS TRY TO CHANGE FOR THEIR OWN FANCIES. BY THE LOOK OF THE HORSES EYES THIS HORSE COULD HAVE SOME ALBINO IN HIM OR HER AND THEY SHOULDN'T BE OUT IN THE SUN ONLY A VERY SHORT WHILE.
@@darlingsapphire1 The kind and loving people that care for him HAVE taken him to the VET. They got special shoes for him, and the VET told THEM NOT YOU about any medical conditions. He is being cared for in an absolutely fantastic way. GO PEDDLE YOUR HATE ELSEWHERE YOU ARE NOT WANTED ON THIS SITE!

So many were devastated when we learned of Pea's death. He was truly loved and brought joy to so many.

He is absolutely adorable. I was born with dwarfism too. It's amazing to see how the genetic traits of dwarfism cause similar issues in both horses and people. The head shape, the bowed legs, the shorter neck. Genetics really is fascinating. I'm so happy to see Peabody has a loving home to grow old in. He's clearly as happy as a, well..., a horse!

Yes, you're exactly right and gracious. This definitely has lifted my heart that there are angels among us. This little cutie pie has been blessed and his parents have been blessed by him. Their entire family is so sweet.
A wonderful lady to save this precious little horse. Sadly this happens when people breed to get smaller and smaller and then are not responsible to care for them if they don't fit their "standard". Oh Peabody is the most precious little thing, the sound of those little hooves😍 and he's so fast!!!!!😊💟🐨

Sadly this is more due to backyard breeding of miniature horses. Proper studs should have all animals tested for the 4 dwarfism genes likely to show up. Miniature horses alone are quite healthy, it's when people start breeding them randomly. Sadly he's passed away and I think he has another family member (sister/half-sister?) who has also passed from the same liver disease.
