You nailed it! 🐑
2:10 XD
He's so strange
haha that's boss that : )
@Cunningcatfish Cunningcatfish ok
When I had acne, I made up a lot of excuses not to go out… “Hey, you coming over tonight?” “I can’t. I have to vacuum my lamb.” 1:56 Brought to you by Differin.
Now you have to pay royalties to that company lol ;p
I swear EVERY differin ad is like that
Ahhhhh. I see you're a woman of culture.
PFFFFT
I do the same thing
He is not weird, he is precious. He sucks everything because he was never able to properly nurse as a baby with his mother. In the end, he is living his best life thanks to his rescuers.🥰
Yes!
That was my thought, too, that he never nursed…
Some also do it because they like the feeling of varying sensations against their tongues. 🙂🙂🙂
I agree it's from being "rejected" by his mama & siblings. I have a cat that I received at 2 weeks due to the same reasoning. He does the same thing still... He's almost 3 🥰
We never get over sucking milk. We just replace it with cigarettes, candy, nail biting and thumbs to name some. Yeah, no one who’s ever sucked gives it up cuz they’re older or didn’t get their rightful sucking in as a babe. Nope. We even suck up wherever needed. Suck it up thru a straw. We’re always sucking. Even if it’s just the teeth in our mouths, we’re constantly sucking. 😂
He is sucking on everything because he was weaned from his mother way to early, so he never lost the reflex. Many mammals who were abandoned very early do that when they grow up. And he is not weird at all, he is simply adorable!
*that's when he started to show his true colours* ...proceed to fart
LOL
XD
Hihi
Diletta Medini Now, that’s hilariously adorable....
@@themidnightwalker3226 , this lamb is adorable. I love lambs and sheep, they have been proven to be very playful, loving, and affectionate once they are placed into a safe and loving home. They've only lost those qualities when they've been made afraid and wary of people, which sadly is almost always the case on factory farms
"ALL OF OUR ORPHANS ARE WEIRD BECAUSE YOU RAISED THEM" i aspire to be this someday

But they're so tasty ...
@@DL101ca they ARE loved...on the rotisserie.
He does look like a stuffed toy lamb when he's born. He socks on everything because he wasn't with his mom long enough to nurse.I absolutely love his jumps!!
He’s beautiful. He’s probably sucking because he missed that from his mother
I was thinking the same thing. I looked to see if anyone else thought the same as I did.
B Humphries you’re basically correct tho mostly seen in horses. Called “cribbing”... from wiki: Cribbing is considered to be an abnormal, compulsive behavior or stereotypy seen in some horses, and is often labelled a stable vice. The major factors that cause cribbing include stress, stable management, genetic and gastrointestinal irritability.
as a horse owner for many many many yrs yes that’s exactly what he’s doing thankfully he’s not wind sucking with it but yes that what he’s doing but in flicks case it’s for fun not out of pure boredom which is why horses start in the first place then it becomes a bad habit only with horses they actually bite to not suck u can tell where horses are doing this as there’s chunks takes outta fences ive raised many an orphan lamb as a child on the farm they all have great personality’s like flick all different all funny n cute as but never seen a lamb or sheep crib lol well suck in his case nothing to do with losing mum tho just his thing it seems as it’s not harmful like horses cribbing n wind sucking then he’s good right lol
The cat of a neighbour did the same thing. He would suck your clothes till they where all wet. If you took him from your lap he was in a kind of panick, because he had to stop sucking. He was taken from his mother much to early.
damn, never thought of that, thats sad :'(

It's like people if they're raised with nurturing and love, their true selves will emerge.
Agreed, in most cases at least. Some just seem to enjoy being evil, mean and hateful... Others are becoming all these as a revenge on the unkind world we live in (boohoo, edgy ppl, you weren't the only unlucky ones) and they don't get that being unkind yourself as a reaction to your bad experiences is how this world stays too unforgiving and harsh. Hopefully some day we'll all learn. Though we're close to destroying the foundations of this planet already, so there won't be time.
Cailtlyn has a little lamb whose fleece was white as snow. She names him “ Flick” which really “clinked” and the little lamb started to grow.
So true.
That’s stupid.
@Cunningcatfish Cunningcatfish Yeah man, you are soooo awesome man.
Maybe he sucks on things a lot because he was separated from his mother too early kinda like how cats like to nibble on their owners hands if they get separated from their mother too early. Just a theory.
Yep, this is the reason.
I thik it too ..that happened to my kittens ..
Yes, that is exactly right. I had kittens, dogs, do that. Any animal separated too early has a lifetime sucking complex. My big black cat Luci would suck at anything when he cuddled up.
That’s what I came here to comment! Probably the case
KD yep exactly. Suckling is a natural soothing action. Thats why babies have dummies/ pacifiers. My cat lwas rared by me at 12hrs old he still suckles my hair neck each morning.
Can we take a minute for the blissful look on his face during the double under chin rub? 😁
He isn't weird. He is absolutely adorable 😍 ❤ I love the way they hipity hop.
When I lived in Switzerland about 10 years ago, we had a neighbor who had a pet baby lamb. They threw a welcome party for it and they always had dinner parties there too, and the lamb would just go from person to person trying to get their attention lol. So adorable. No clue what happened to it past the first year though, they moved away.
Or they ate him...
Yummy lamchops
@@irfanchaudhary9947 I see you're very deep and unique with your jokes :s Oh well.
Irfan Chaudhary That’s horrible to say!!
Christine Buckingham i’m just saying they can’t find the animal. It’s a possibility...
Bet his “sucking” is the same as grown cats “nursing” on blankets and such. It seems to happen because they were weaned from mom too soon.
That was my thought, too.
Same thing with dogs.
I agree. I have seen it even in abused dogs. I always thought it was a “self soothing” mechanism.
Yep! My dog has always done this and we’re p sure that’s why.
Darkstar 1999, I appreciate your insight, which seems echoed by others replying to your comment. Thanks.

Gay Sheep people can believe in what they want, and Covid-19 was because people were eating whatever animal it was in China when they shouldn’t. Eating meat is fine.

• JELLYFISH • I don’t like how you said weird you are
@billy vandory , just because lambs and sheep have normally been raised on a farm, doesn't mean that they can't be pets. I've seen several videos aside from this one where it looks that they can be just as loyal, affectionate, playful of a pet as a dog.
The sucking is a habit that was 'thought' to make them 'high". Horses can create this habit too, known as cribbing. It tends to develop out of stress or boredom. Or he created a habit of sucking on things while young, like when milking, as a comfort method. Btw lambs are the cutest thing every omg
We have a 15yr old chihuahua x Boston terrier mix who does that with a blanket, because her original owners adopted her before she had been weaned.
Tristan Lambert Was thinking the same thing, those animals and pets prematurely weaned often develop this habit.
yes lamb are very cute, I cook lamb leg every month and eat it, it is very delicous too besides being cute

When ever we read a story about an animal that was saved it is heartwarming. The people that do this for the least among us are the best among us. .

Behabtwa this is the same reason I want to give up eating meat eventually. I love animals way too much, and I feel guilty that I love meat 😞
Hey guys, just wanted to see how it’s going with not eating meat. If you need any support or cooking tips/info, reply back here!
J Baldwin I’ve been failing and feeling guilty about it 😞 It’s so easy for some people to give it up. I’m still trying
Sir Scribe be patient with yourself. It’s not easy, just remember to be kind to yourself and try to make it a positive process. Keep in mind that fat is an addictive substance, just like salt and sugar. It’s really difficult at first to give it up since you will be craving it. I promise you though, the cravings do get better after a while. You’ll have the odd craving over the years, but they become less and less. I haven’t had cravings in over a decade, but I’ve conditioned my brain to find it quiet gross haha, it easier to be appalled when you recognize when you see meat what it use to be, how it wanted to live, and the trauma it probably faced because it’s served as food. Having that mental connection will make it easier. Just remind yourself that you’d rather have them live a happy life and eat something that will fuel your body positively. Everyone is different and maybe cold turkey isn’t the way to go. You could set certain days of the week where you can eat meat, like fri, sat and sun are meat days and the rest of the week are none. Then work to cut it down over the months down to two days, down to one, then couple times a month, then none. I was a kid when I became a vegetarian, so I ate only hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken fingers. Then just two of them, and then just hamburgers. At that point someone asked me why I don’t just become a vegetarian and I was like yeah, that makes sense to me and I cut out that last one. Every one is different and you’ll find what works for you. It took me a while to become a vegan, but that happened after I become more involved in animal welfare and understood the food industry better. I would recommend coming back to these videos every time you need a pick me up in encouragement to keep going. You can also always reply here and I’ll respond too. Sometimes volunteering for an animal welfare organization also keeps you connected with the message. Check out websites like my new roots and minimalist baker for delicious and healthy recipe ideas. If you need any info on nutrition and replacing nutrients in meat from other sources let me know as I can help with that too! Just remember, you got this!
J Baldwin many thanks. I needed to see your message of encouragement. Have a great weekend, bud.

Compassionate farmer indeed
@@laurafeher9694 ''compassionate farmer'' is an oxymoron. Just like ''humane slaughter''. Farmers make money of exploiting animals for their bodys (like wool, milk, eggs etc.) and then sending them to slaughterhouses. No compassion in this.
Em- The farmer literally saved his life by calling the sanctuary instead of killing him. He was compassionate.
Laura, I make zero from my little farm lol. I don't raise meat but I do raise rabbits (for fertilizer) and chickens (for eggs). There are compassionate farmers, contrary to popular belief. I plan on adding goats (milk)/sheep (wool) in the future. The only money I have ever made from anything farm related was some jewelry I sold at my aunt's yard sale. :-/ I will tell you one thing, it's possible to make money and I plan on making money in the future. Homesteading/farming isn't just animals. You can make crafts, jewlry, art, goat milk soap, all kinds of things. Farming isn't just meat, it's other things too. I'm personally a vegitarian. I'm also a farmer. I plan on adding aquaponics (raising veggies using fish) next year aswell.
@@idiotwilson1474 I wish with all my heart that the whole world operated as you do.
I can tell a kind of similar story. A sheep of ours also had triplets and the smallest one could nt keep up with his brothers. They did nt let him drink and it was - 18° C that winter night. So we took him home and after a while he had himself adopted to live with us. Now, 10 month later he s in very good shape, lives with the other sheep and I m soo proud of "my boy" :-)
Hopefully you have a sanctuary, and don't use these animals for wool or raise them for slaughter.
@@Empathy4Animals411 I helped most of them to be born, know them from the 1. day.... We take the wool for the benefit of the sheep. (there s no money in wool anymore)
