Just out today! Would/will you try and of these?
Yes
Yep. Its a well thought products
hey robin i have the same skin as you maybe a little whiter what chanel concealer would work for me
Oh Yes please!!
All of them!
Oh THANK GOD someone is talking about these! ✨
Since I started taking my grooming journey seriously in past few years I never would have imagined that I would be considering men’s make up and growing up in a male dominated house hold (3 brothers & Dad and Mom), men don’t wear make up. However, though this is a start in getting into this category I would definitely be buying some of these to try. Likes James said “THIS IS EXCITING”!
This is good! It's all about experimentation. It is exciting!
Thank you for the review, loved it
Loving this video Robin, actually making me consider buying these products despite having never considered anything like it. Generally love all your videos, please keep up the good work! :)
Thanks very much.
Great review, shame the prices are higher than their original line, it does feel like they’re trying to take advantage of a new market and that’s pretty disappointing. However, I really wanted to come here to say that your blog is GORGEOUS, so beautifully laid out, such consistent imagery. You must put so much time into it and it really shows!!
Awesome video! As I said in a comment a few months ago, you have opened my eyes to an enormous world that I would never know otherwise. I appreciate that! And also as I said before, I wished I came across your channel years ago, then I would've boosted the self-confidence that I needed. But, better late than never, right? I do wonder if you could upload a video on thickening sprays? My hair is similar to yours, where it is thin but I have a lot of it, so I need a boost in the morning when I do my hair. I use sea salt sprays that were also recommended by you in previous videos, and they have worked wonders. However, I just feel that I need more help sometimes. Are there any thickening sprays that you would recommend to people like me?
Great Video. What are your thoughts between the Channel concealers and the Tom Ford ones for men ? Thanks
Yes. Love this video 🙌🏼
Thanks Rocky
Great video! I have the natural nail polish, and I am also trying the black. I am definitely trying some of the other products. I spoke to a Chanel specialist today, and I am going to have her do a skin analysis soon, and to help me see what products I am comfortable with. I am thinking of doing the moisturizer, toner, concealer. lip balm, nail polish and possibly the foundation. I don't think the eye pencil is for me, but who knows. I do not need the eyebrow pencil as I already have full eyebrows.
Hi! Out of context perhaps, but I want to buy Bleu de Chanel aftershave balm, lotion, moisturizer etc. Will they be worth it according to u (especially the longevity of smell)? There are no reviews on them available. Have a wonderful day 👍
I got the foundation and eye brow pencil last year and absolutely love them! I will definitely pick up the concealer now! The new products haven’t launched in the US yet though :(
Let me know when you get them!
Another great video. Thanks Robin not sure I’ll go guyliner although I always thought Jimmy in Quadrophenia looked great.
Thanks Mark. And love that reference!
i have this entire line and i love it.... i mostly use the lip balm, the concealer, and the eyebrow pencil
How’s the moisturizer and toner?
Hello Robin, thanks for this video. I love Chanel and the packaging is divine and makes me want to have it 😉. I would probably skip the guyliner and the varnish though( not everyone is Johnny Depp, right😂😂). But the rest I would give a go!!!. I read an article once, that there is such a thing as gender pricing. Every product ( rasors and what not) that is pink and marketed towards women is more expensive than the male counterparts. Not really ok that it is the otherway round here with Chanel. I suppose they think any man wanting to have this will be willing to pay the extra price tag!!!!. Gaultier had a great mens line a few years back. Tinted moisturizer, a beautiful bronzer, Lip balm and a tinted brow gel ( it could also be used as a mascara and was totally undetectable.... I loved that !!!)but it has been discontinued. Sadly. We will see how long Chanel will have these available ....
I’ve read that fragrance-free skincare products are the best for the skin. What do you think about that statement? Given the moisturizer has a scent, I am not going to purchase.
loved the review video! kinda like the eye pencil lol
Thanks Rahma. Yeh, it kinda grew on me.
Hey Robin! Great review! What are your favourite fragrances for men from the Les Exclusifs line?!?
I love lemony snicket
I think they kind of missed the boat by making it *this* premium. It just scares away potential customers in my opinion. Men are really conscious when it comes to this stuff and making it this expensive makes it a huge step for a lot of men
Exactly, the price point is ridiculous! Making it more expensive than their women’s line? C’mon!
True but... a lot of men will love the premium branding too.
@@ManForHimself regardless, first adopters are always experimenters, and premium pricing locks them out. If this line was cheaper then the woman's, which it should've been, Chanel would've upturned the entire industry! Alas, they missed out big time.
@@ManForHimself I agree. They know exactly what they are doing and who they are marketing. Its far being a niche market in Asia😉
@@ManForHimself men will love the premium stuff if they're already into this stuff. Other men could be scared away or will try cheap products instead. If those aren't as good, they'll stay away for good
Robin, would you say the Tom Ford for men concealer is better than Boy De Chanel or vise versa? Thank you for the content!
I think I prefer the Chanel one. Lighter.
Robin James Awesome thanks so much! Keep up the content for us guys 👌
He feels like the bob ross of man care
Hi robin are you going to review forte series moulding paste?
Hey, sure! Once it's out I'll order.
Tried to purchase it, but they dont send to UK :/ so disapointed
Interesting video!
I love it. i bought on a whim the color Ryhthm which is a beautiful blue. It's very hard to apply without being messy. I'm using their base and gel coat and I must say it's hard to get it perfect. I've redone it 3 times in two days and it's still a mess. the dark blue looks way better than the black. you are adorable - i hope you have some man or boy worshiping at your altar . i do not think the eyeliner looks natural or makes your eye look better.
Hi robin , would you moisturise before you use concealer?
Yes. Always use moisturizer, if nothing else 2-4 drops of plain jojoba oil before concealer to keep products smooth/unblotchy. Also scruff/beards look better moisturized when using any face products to match mild sheen/natural face oil look and it prevents jaw-lip-sideburn dander.
I love the Boy De Chanel foundation. A light layer is totally undetectable. I would say yes to the moisturizer, concealer, and the nail varnish. Definitely will be giving all three a try. Nice review!!
Cheers James.
Interesting product review. Looks like Gaultier was too soon launching this product area for men.
For sure!
Not sure what to think about the eye pencils or the varnish, but really interesting getting your thoughts on it. Will try out the gel moisturizer over the weekend though, thanks Robin
Cheers Frank.
You should do a video on tretinoin. In my opinion it’s the only skincare product men need, and maybe a nice moisturizer with spf.
Will take a look!
I love your accent Robin.
Thanks Simon
Great video! I have to look at the new offerings. I’m really interested in the nail varnish. I pay about $30 US dollars for a manicure, but that’s each time. One varnish bottle will last a long time. Thanks for the review, Robin! 👍🏼
True! You're right. It's a good varnish, just not my sort of product.
I think the reason why its more expensive than the woman line is reverse sex taxing, hence woman earn less they pay less.
i just use chanels female products works great
Navy baby all the way
The navy eyeliner made your eyes look sexy. Try to create a less obvious line on the waterline and wear it out liberally. 😉
Haha Fenty skincare now says hi
I know it isn't nice, but I'm a little pleased that men are now experiencing the "pink" tax on their products.
Nice tshirt
Thanks Stephn!
Hi Robin!

@@thomasf6280 So good. And hugely impressive!
ROBIIIIIIIIIIN
YO!
To your point at the start of the video, I totally agree: I really don’t see why people make a big deal about Men’s Make Up, Just look at what some big artist and their fans wore in the 1970s and 80s. I am not into a more “feminine” / make up look at all but I have mild skin damage around my nose so I am like Rudolph the red nose Reindeer and I definitely will be trying the concealer. I already use stuff to help with the darkness I get around my eyes,. I get it many men (especially straight) don’t want to look “made up” but Christ all mighty if you have bad skin or something like that, don’t be afraid to try using concealer or whatever for utilitarian purpose. I know so many straight guys who are bother by something in their skin but afraid to death of makeup. It’s so silly, after all most male tv personalities or movie stars wore it at some point. Also 15 yo the average man was petrified of skincare, now no one cares.
Exactly! Well said, Sam.
You something on the t-shirt
King of Shaves launched some make-up products for men in the early 2000s under their XCD brand. The concept was clearly ahead of its time and rapidly discontinued, nonetheless for a couple of years you could buy a male concealer, transparent foundation 'matte gel' and various other products at very affordable prices in most Boots stores. I think these kinds of ranges are going to remain pretty niche and a 'bridge too far' for the average man for the foreseeable future, even amongst younger and more progressively-minded generations. Perhaps they'll need to be taken up by a few stereotypical masculine role models before they break through to the mass market.
Totally agree with you, Jon. And it's all about timing. They were clearly too early!
please your videos translate in hindi
why did they add fragrance? are they trying to make men age faster??? cuz that’s what fragrance does to your skin. i wish they got rid of it
First may be
almost!
@@ManForHimself may be i will b first in the next one and love from India bro
I feel like you DO love wearing it tho haha.
