🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

If there's someone who can tell you how wonderful the world is, it's Sonny. He welcomes everyone and doesn't care. It changed him for the better, he sees the world a whole lot different than most people will ever will. AMAZING CONTENT as always.

  • The ladies in this video COMPLETELY made it! The gal flirting with him about marrying her while on his other side another lady stroking his arm... PRICELESS! But Sonny's guide in the last village was SO incredibly funny and beautiful. A lot of the time when Sonny makes a western/US joke it goes over their heads cuz the context is so far out of what they know. But that beautiful guide in pink pretty much gave as good as she got lol. I seriously love how this show is produced and created. Yes, my picky western stomach revolts but the WHOLE picture of the culture and civilization he gives is A-MAY-ZING! This team hits it out of the park!

Although their lives as nomads appear simple, they have a complex culture and complete existence which includes fresh food, family, friendly interactions with peers along with mating rituals for procreation, and lively entertainment. Sonny, you bring exotic cultures along with their cuisine to light so everyone can marvel and see you boldly interact with these people. What a tremendous gift to the world!!!

Also nothing is stopping you from getting a passport and traveling to all the various countries in Africa. Why are you waiting for a yte man to do it? Nuts!

  • I’ve watched so many of this channel’s longer videos, but I found this one incredibly touching. It felt like a very intimate thing that the tribal woman allowed the camera to show her bathing and using the smoke. Such amazing people and so many wonderful displays of what seemed like genuine warmth towards Sonny.

  • Thank you for showing us actually how these cultures live day to day! It's really cool to learn. especially in america we don't get any sort of exposure to other cultures except the languages we study in school and America likes to yellow-filter tons of foreign cultures and make them into spectacles. It's rare to get an actual informative look at other cultures here in america. So this is a rarer glimpse than some might think, and i'm grateful for it!

They go over there regardless yet in America they just posted on the news about a real estate company that said blacks not allowed in a suburban community had got banned and even tho it was banned the true reality of the white man is they just wanna look good for the world. they don’t know how to truly be the real humans that grew from the land and become one with it they want to experiment, control and use illusions and mixed breaded ppl in America are more lost then kids who grow up under the influence of there people and country

The tribal women show what humanity is capable of, when you strip away all the superfluous and unnecessary. These Namibian women exude natural beauty, genuineness, and warmth. The words Paradise Lost come to mind, when I compare our modern world to theirs. Well done to Sonny and the producers for creating one of the best documentaries I have ever seen.
