Thanks for all the LIKES and shares! Finally done with the new Dream LOFT BED 2.0: kzhead.info/sun/m5ipeLWwp4KYmJ8/bejne.html
This a good idea for all those who rent closets in New York and need additional space to live as normal human beings…
Yes. It does help. I had a Murphy bed before I built this. Both has positive and negative sides.
@karinamartinez9441 it's brilliant 🎉
Ppl rent closets ? O.o And here I thought I was the only one eho liked sleeping in my closet But I never heard of ppl renting then
@lilsilli same here 😎
Can we appriciate the ammount of cleanliness this guy kept at all time of the video? Like dam im suprised... he worked and after every step, he cleaned the sawdust... (salute emoji (i dont have it lol))
Thanks man. Real talk. So much work before and after taking video. And yes, I need a dust collector 🫣.
My goodness. And patience. I've had soft boxes (those studio lights) try to kill me too before and he was far more graceful about the situation. 😂🎉
This is a really cool build, you did a wonderful job! :) Love your enthusiasm!
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed it!
This is impressive! All from reclaimed stuff you already had! I LOVE THIS!
the inspector earned you a like lol... excellent job on the bed. I've always wanted a loft bed :D

@@GabrielDimude sure dude I will
Extraordinary 👍
Thanks Elena 😎
Great work, very inspiring. For me I would have to make some kind of rail because I would be scared of rolling out of bed at that height!
Thanks. Yes rail would be great. Maybe I’ll include it in my next DIY Loft Bed that I’m building now
Ficou lindo ❤
Obrigado Nilda 😎

Good job and good idea Sir 💪👍👍👍
Thanks man 😎
I love how you are repurposing old material !
Me too, I wanted to challenge myself to build something from old materials. I have a new DIY LOFT BED. I think it will be my best build 😎
awsome!
Thanks 😎
Woahhhh bro u as a kid looks so similar to my dad as a kid, cool vid to tho.
wow ang galing mo naman❤️❤️❤️ proud kmi sayo insan lalong lalo na si auntie ghie napakagaling❤️❤️❤️
Maraming salamat ate 😎
Idea: where you hang the clothes make the stair case their and have storage under the stairs so you can get into bed easy and have style
Actually that’s a good idea. I was thinking about that. Thanks for the idea 💡😎
1. Use flooring grade ply wood instead of slats. If you want slats drill holes into the wood that would allow you to put those plastic slats clips in rather than nailing them because you just made them harder to replace. 2. Should over lap the edge wood to hide the plaster board :) makes it a cleaner finish Looks good tho
Thanks man for advice. I have another similar video. Maybe that one is much better 😎
Wow, you made it look so easy! :D Like I can build that myself. Maybe I'll try it one day? :D Thank you for the video - it was inspirational!
I recommend it. I’m currently building another 1 😎
wow....
cool bro i want to do something like that when i have my house its tiny and comfortable.Good video keep doing that.
Thanks bro. I’m currently finish with my next video. I think you will like it 😎
Great Job I’m going to use your model to do it for my sons bedroom
I have another loft bed video coming this weekend. I think you will have great ideas there.
I’m just buying the wood to start the project now with your video
Genial !!!
This project is fantastic! Do you have any problems using this Loft bed design? Is it comfortable to reach the bed and relax during daytime? Does your head touch the roof or the small gap between the bed and the roof annoy you? I'm planning to build something like yours ;) I appreciate your hard work💪
I used it today and it’s still my favourite 😻 The height of everything was design for seating comfortably on both the loft bed and the studio under. My head doesn’t touch the roof when sitting. The only time it touches is when I’m standing 😳 and it can have some impact also when I forget about the bed 🛌 above 👆
cool
Next will be better 😎
Good Job🎉
Thanks 😁
As I viewer I loved your video it was very entertaining but as a carpenter, you can definitely work on your technique. 😭 still inspired me. Now I wanna go home and build one. Thanks for the video man ❤
Thanks man. I'm definitely not a carpenter obviously. I'm happy you enjoyed and that was my goal. Good luck with your upcoming projects
@@GabrielDimudethx a lot man keep up the good work and good luck on your future projects as well
Thanks 😎
Hey 🖕🏼 compare his technique to mine and he'll be just fine. He's genius. Who knew what all you can get into a shoebox. 😮
and yes @GabrielDimude your not a carpenter. Your a genius.
Amei ❤
this is cool my frein :)
Thanks man. New DIY LOFT BED 2.0 coming soon
I've had a bed/desk like this but made from steel tubing I got from Ren-a-Center about 20 years ago...if you're under 5' tall then it isn't too bad to stand under but anything more than that you may want a helmet. I imagine you have the same issue here.
Yes, there will be positives and negatives.
Hola, una pregunta ¿cuánto tiene que medir mínimo de la cama a el techo? Mi habitación es pequeña y el techo no es tan alto, así que no sabemos bien.
You are very talented, keep it up.. you deserve more subscribe.. count me in
Thanks man! I appreciate it
I stole a couple of ideas for my setup... nice job
Thanks man. Glory be to God
I love big city people ... cramed into 10x10 rooms ... build out mega-mini cities for $750K lofts. lol .. meanwhile in 2024 - get 50 acres + 4000sq/ft house in VA ... and WFH.
I'm getting a new loft bed in a few days
Exciting 😎 I’m also building a new DIY LOFT BED
I would never trust myself enough to make my own loft bed lmao
Brilliant work! What a space saving project! How long did it take you to complete the project? Thanks 🙏
Thanks. I don’t know the total but it was longer than I expected. I have a new DIY LOF BED coming next. I’ll be updating time and money spent 😎
@@GabrielDimude thanks 👍 much appreciated
Awesome video!!! How would you increase the weight capacity for up to 500-600lbs whilst keeping the setup fully functional under the bed still?
Before I built this set up. I check how they build beds. You can increase the capacity by adding additional slats 3:57. More of this will increase the capacity 😎
Good idea ....but will you pls. give the brand of all your portable tools that you're using ...need to buy them portable but heavy duty ...good job....
Thanks. I have some links on my description box. If you need any specific tools, then let me know 😎
I will do this too toy son's room
Ok. I have a new project coming soon. DIY LOFT BED with much more storage and more durable 😎
Can you show how you place your LED strips? I’ve been wanting to make it look like yours but idk how 😢
11:45 of the video. I show some parts on installing it 😎
ولله 10 / 10 ما شاء الله
Thanks man!
I would like that but my room is 2,5 m high. Do you have any ideas what I coul d do?
Yes. My bedroom is 2.52 m high. You can apply this on your room. Check my description box for details ☺️
I just realized this guy has 1.22k subs, i thought it was 1.22 million... You seem very humble and the project looks great, i wish you the best of luck so that you can grow more on KZhead! A small piece of advice would be trying to be more clear on sentences. Your voice is great and everything is perfectly understandable, but the paused speech is a trait most big channels don't have, so maybe that would help. I'm trying to work on my accent as well 😅 Sorry if i sound like i'm complaining, it is a genuine tip!
I appreciate the complement. I’m getting better everytime I upload a video. I’ll fix this paused speech. Thanks for your genuine tip
Hi there, please share the courses you take to make videos like this, I'm studying videography, I liked so much the video style
Wow! Thanks man. This is what I’ve learned. 1. Ask (Ask God and it will be given to you) 2. Seek (Seek with all your heart and you shall find) 3. Knock (the door shall be open) That’s the course bro 😎
🔥
Hi! I’m gonna build something similar! Great video. How high is your ceiling? And what is the height from floor to bottom of the bed?
You can check my description box. I put every measurements with more details. I have a new DIY LOFT BED coming soon. I think you will enjoy it also.
@@GabrielDimude thanks!!
I like this but I feel like I would roll off the bed and fall down on the floor hard lol. ouch. So I would need some kind of rail to prevent that that i could raise up and down before i go to sleep.
Yes, it would be ouch 😅 I’m currently building a new DIY LOFT BED. I think you’ll like the next project 😎
@@GabrielDimude Cool. looking forward to the video.
What angles did you use for the ladder, pls??
Ladder: 15 degree angle 😎
Bro what kind of tape u used in the under gaps of dry wall ,thx
1. Dry Wall Joint Tape (paper) - I used on the video 2. Fiberglass Joint Tape - For bigger gaps. Good luck on your projects 😎
What size is this? Can you put a cut list in the description? I'm wanting to make a full size bed frame
140x200cm Yes. I’ll update my description 😎 Wow! Good luck on your next project
@@GabrielDimude thank you
Also why u moving into the room before u finish it
👌
❤❤
how tall is the ceilling? and the bed?
Hi Jacqueline. - The bed to ceiling height is 104 cm (top). - (Under) the bed: floor to bed height is 147 cm
Everything seems fine, BUT I would do everything first, then wipe the dust, and only then hang up the clothes, bring the mattress and equipment. Also, the sides of the laminate bed are clearly uneven and untreated.
Good strategy. I’ll apply that idea in my upcoming DIY LOFT BED
Id be worried about the support. Idk much anout xonstruction but felt for an adult maybe there shouls be more supoort. Im in ny and want ro build one, but one thats heaby duty & maybe 2 peoplw can get in bed if needed. Any suggestions?
Watch my latest video. That has more heavy duty and walkin closet best for New Yorker
How much space do you have from top of your mattress to the ceiling ?
Mattress to ceiling height is 104 CM. Thanks for this question. I'll add this on the description box
It turned out really well but I‘m afraid that because drywall isn’t breathable you could get a problem with mold under the mattress at some point🤔
Thanks, hopefully no mold because I might build another one 🤔
Wish that u can come to Malaysia and deco my house 😊
That will be a long trip from here 😳 I hope to visit Malaysia soon. Nice to see you here
@@GabrielDimude did u make service for that?
No
@@GabrielDimude ok bro. Hope meet u some day at Malaysia 🇲🇾
I'm not sure if you have no space to put the things like the monitors, your clothes and the mattress while making this video, but isn't it easier if you put them after all the sanding and drilling?
Yes
Hi Gabriel, thanks for sharing your video! I wanted to give you some constructive criticism, because I think the build is overall a great idea and I think you had some really good details in there! However, it did very much seem like you just kind of winged parts of your build, like the stairs and the siding on your bed. Really would have made a positive impact for the overall look and quality of the build if you had put in a little bit more effort to make things line up, flush and done a little bit of measuring to get it juuuust perfect! :-) I'm sure your future builds will be awesome!
Yo Henrik. Thanks man for the feedback. I always can do it better.
What is your ceiling height ? And how do you manage the less height above the head? I would accidentally bang my head in half-sleep while getting up 😅 any solution?
252 cm ceiling. More details is in the description. Just manage to have enough space to sit so you won’t bang your head. Check my latest video I think you’ll like it also
@@GabrielDimude thanks. I have a ceiling height of around 305cm. Was thinking of implementing something similar but the thought of banging my head on the ceiling always bugged me.
@nokiaairtel5311 then you have good space on the top part. The banging of head will most likely below. The most important is you need to be able to sit on the bed
@@GabrielDimude thanks
