    • At 4:02, the source you cite about the EV range issue only applies in -20F weather. March is not producing that low of a temperature in the US. The COLDEST states during the entire cannon ball run will only be at a LOW of like, 40F in March, well within the operational temperature for an EV. Come on man. You tried to claim unbiased research to get out of that too.

    • 3200 miles / 24 hours = 133mph average. But, when you get stuck in denser traffic, you'll have to make up all the time spent below 133mph on longer straightaways. And these days, with as much traffic as we have now, I'd say that those records likely won't be broken.

In the main version, you can even see your average speed in each event (according to reviews and footage, i only played the Wii version) EDIT: i played it recently and yes it does show average speed + a timer that shows your collective time of all stages, meaning that you can set times for the entire run, even though it's broken into chapters and stages

But now I have a 2 year old and I can’t see myself driving that fast anymore. The most I do now is maybe 90-100 for a short period or if I’m going on a long trip.

We drove to Lenny's with Alex because we needed a TV to see the draft cut of Apex: The Secret Race Across America ... though back then, the documentary had no official name. 12:46 is also my pic. Note how Dave Maher and Corey Welles is not pictured in this team picture, but you can see their names in the rear view mirror, which are stickered on the rear window of the M5.

Then Alex went on to promote his book at local BMW dealerships, and we met at one of these gatherings. It was cool to sit in the car and see all the gear...we partied a few times in the city. Fun times. Another fun fact - Alex was the first to have this crazy idea to do a lap around Manhattan.

Unless a car manufacturer of EVs makes a battery swappable car? Or a car with multiple batteries In it? All that is assuming if people are going to continue this awesome competition.
