I can't say that about others in entertainment, or even in the world. He morphed that slap (without hitting back..) into the reality of where it came from. Hey..that is a catchy phrase..lol 😄👍🏽
Right
His laughter is crazy. I love it! He is awesome.
Chris Rock is still raw and uncut and thats why he's so dope!!
He’s such a natural. He’s the real deal. Hard to see the “replays” and not close your eyes in pain.
Chris Rock is the most funniest comedian ever.great entertainer💕🥰
Chris always keeps it real and never afraid to be himself.
Chris Rock!!!!!!! 💞A Goat 🐐
Chris Rock is the funniest when he's just talking and making points... he doesn't need to try and be funny, his points and intelligence is what's funny.
I wholeheartedly agree!! He doesn't need to fill his jokes with vulgar language. His brand of comedy, stands on its own merit!!!!!
Plain Simple hes first 2 hbo specials were 94 and 99. I watchced them when they debuted and have seen them a million times since. I just watched both of them tonight and it's just surreal. I mean his material is almost more to today than 2o years ago. he's just the shit
Plain Simple Chris Rock is amazing, hysterical, ruthless, but Jay Leno is such a lame white man...unfunny, to proper, boring AF.
@@deemariedubois4916 Sigh...it always comes down to race. Is Chris Rock a funny BLACK man? Or a funny MAN? Just STFU.
Well said!
I think people miss the fact that he is so smart and very cunning, meaning that people take his humor for granted. I just love him.
😊👍
Yes he is a comedian but everything has a proper time and place ,you dont make fun of a sick wife infront of his husband and colleagues . It is a formal event, the family maybe ongoing a difficult situation.
@@evelynbautista3178 you are such an idiot, that was a very light joke no reason for will Smith to walk on stage and shaped another person in the face, you condoning violence is beyond me.
@@evelynbautista3178 you must be sick if you think Jada is f*cking sick...all dem products ruined her hair...whose fault it is...she isn't dying
@@evelynbautista3178 Bullshit. Will was laughing at the joke. Hitting someone over a joke is never right. The fact that you're attempting to justify it says a lot about you.
Could listen to mr. Rock all night😀
It must be so much fun to be Chris' friends, even just to spend some time with him, or hang around at events with him 😄🙃😃😂🤣 He's great👍
LMFAO not sure about that being his FRIEND how he go use his friends as part of his act while doing his comedy?im#teamWillSmith F chris&MARLON Wayans
Chris Rock is one of my favorite people being interviewed. Always keeps the interviewers and viewers on their toes AND super funny.
"The only way 40 is young is if you die ....or you're sleeping with Cher!" LOL!!
He’s 57 now!
@@danvincent2600 He DOES NOT look 57! I had to check when the movie The Longest Yard came out just to know how old this clip is. I'm shocked by his age!
Its amazing how Chris is a bigger star after the slap incident.
Truth is, I only vaguely knew of him. I’ve been following the story of the fateful night at the AA, especially how Mr Rock is handing it and himself. Now I know better who he is. I respect and like him. I am so proud of anyone who can stand in the face of adversity with courage and self-respect. He did good!
@@donnadaisy333 Was never a fan of his stand up (though I don't doubt his comedic ability), but I've loved him in the movies I've seen
You COULD say Chris getting slapped is like Don Cheadle winning an Oscar…
True
@@davel9514 You vaguely knew of ChrisRock.? You must have been living under a Rock 😃😆
God blessed him stay humble my brother The angels are on your side the world is proud of you great exemple to the violents men out there 🥰🥰stay strong and positive
just watched this today....and I miss the talk shows before when they really get into good conversations with celebrities...
Chris. 8:06 "You're movie went straight to audio". drum dum tish. 🥁🥁🥁🤣🤣
Jay leno and Chris Rock together ...wow best combination😎💕
I love Chris Rock he is the funniest comedian I have ever seen he is so smart he sees it the way it is and he says it the way it is that's what makes him so funny he's so honest love you Chris
I agree. Saw him last year in atl. It was well worth the money.
For stand up comedy, no one compares to his type humor - not even Eddie Murphy or Richard Pryor!!!!
Exactly
@@moonglow1311 Sorry bub, but Rock, Murphy and Pryor were all 3 equally funny for one good reason- Paul Mooney wrote their material ;)
@@Rick-the-Swift Well Mr. Mooney must be a very elderly man, bcos we are talking about a 35 year span of jokes! Sorry, never heard of him, but somehow I get the feeling that he was a white guy writing material for 3 black men❓😎
These 2 guys are seasoned professionals and it shows. Thanks guys.
Also the best VMA host EVER! Dude, when he hosted the VMA’s it was MAGIC!
Love you Chris Rock 💕 you think on your feet and it’s hilarious 🤣
He's going down in history as absolutely 1 of the best of all times💋💋❤️🧠💓

How to reprogram delta shower faucet?
I totally agree, and he is a gracious guy. Doesn’t talk down to people or harp on GD politics like all the “comedians” feel it’s their place to “educate” us stupid and uneducated people. I got to the point where I don’t watch any of them unless it’s guys like Chris or Dave C.
lol 8:09
i love Chris Rock My absolute favorite
I'm a fan of both Chris Rock and Jay Leno...2 of my all-time favorite comedians.
@RestlessRick, Huh. I suppose you like trying to catch fart bubbles in the bath tub too, I guess? Neither of these clowns could hold a candle to a true comedian like Don Rickles. You millenials kill me
@@Rick-the-Swift Don Rickles was one of the funniest and best insult comedians it ever was Black or White and I'm Black btw...he used to crack me up lol...rip
Thanks Chris... you're brilliant !
He is sooo funny! Love you Chris.
YOU ROCK CHRIS!!!!
Half way into the interview and my ribs are cracked up! Best interview Chris Rock.
How can you not love Chris?
I have been shouting about Rock since the 1st time I saw him. Every time since, I see him coming from both reality AND Love- which creates real, positive action. I can't say that about others in entertainment, or even in the world. He morphed that slap (without hitting back..) into the reality of where it came from. Suge Smith, conversely ...didn't stop for a second to find out if Rock had a grudge against Alopecia, or if he's a man who was hired to make a good joke. Chris became a hero without even acting.
Love Chris Rock 😅😂🤣
Chris Rock and Ricky Gervais should host EVERY award show.
Only if Will Smith doesn't turn up to bring the mood down 🤣
Can you imagine how fast his mama n’ daddy got gray hair after Chris appeared?! Love him!!
@MJ Serrano, wtf, that's racist AF. Just because he's black you think his parent's have to have gray curly hairs on their heads, instead of straight blonde hair? I doubt you even researched whether he was raised by black people or not. smh. FYI, most famous black comedians were brought up around white people, like it or not. Dave Chappelle for example, almost never hangs out with brothers, and most of his audience is white.
“You’re movie went straight to audio” 😹😹😹
I burst out laughing!!!!
I love Chris Rock ,always have! He didn’t deserve what went down !! Will Smith will get what is coming to him👺
"Baby needs diamond shoes!" lol
RIGHT???...
One of the best comedians.
Your movie went straight to audio‼️ 🙏🙌🏽
THis was easily the funniest thing said the whole interview. I think the guy is a bit overrated, but thats funny
Chris Rock slayyyys 😂😂😂😂
Love this guy he is the best!
Legendary goat 🐐
Chris Rocks! 😂💙😂
He is so funny. Just love him
GREAT HILARIOUS CHRIS ROCK INTERVIEW !!!!
Chris is a legend
Love Chris Rock in movies. For some reason that's where i think he really shines. And he didn't deserve that slap that's now being meme everywhere.
He is funny and super smart. You can ask him a question and comes with the most funny answer. I saw him on Good Morning America with Adam Sandlers and he made everybody laugh so hard. Even Adam Sandlers could not resist. I mean for a comedian to make another comedian laugh is because is the GOAT.
Yep, he has more talent in his pinky than a guy like Will Smith, who's given the very best roles time and time again and could only punch it through after boycotting
He's never lost for words 🤣
Love Chris Rock. Can not wait for the oscars.
I agree with Wanda. Dude is real and he can turn it around and make it funny.
Creator Rocks!....never needed to laugh soooo hard as now! ...eye candy, the whole package! So uplifting! Divine timing mos def!😂
A legend in his own time a true geinius.
Chris Rock the True OG!
I LOVE Chris Rock!!!!!...
Love both of you!!!!
Jay and Chris are so good together! Jay's comebacks to Chris's jokes are so quick and hilarious!
So true! No one acknowledges you before a nobel prize, but an Oscar.. all know you.
Chris Rock - "Nuttin' but Love" - a NATURAL Comedian - NO TRAINING NEEDED !!!!! Lethal Weapon, Dogma, etc.....!!!! one of the ALL TIME GREAAAAAAAAAAATS !!!! Keep Rockin Chris !!!!!!!!!!
Jay's movie went "straight to audio"... that was a good one! 😄
7:58 Jay *tried* to sucker punch Chris. But Chris came back with the TKO. Love it! You can tell these two are friends, I love the friendly jabbing.
Yes Sock Puppet, Leno and Rock were quite close, and the jabbing probably extended beyond the stage set and into their hotel room, if you know what I mean. Chris no doubt probly put Jay's chin to good use if you know what I'm saying... probly even gave him that little dimple ;)
@@Rick-the-Swift You really shouldn't comment when they're drunk
In light of recent events...this comment is a somehow weird close comparison. Oscar talk, your "sucker punch" comment. 😵💫
Love the music. Chris comes in on. Love it. Nice.
Leno.. Chris Rock is always a comedian first!!!
So classy, complete professional ❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔥
Love ❤️ Chris Rock, very funny 😄 &smart. Guy.

Rock is hilarious 😂
This was a display of comedy gamesmanship. Leno talking about Rock’s movies wasnt the first time and he obviously knew what Rockz response would be because he has probably said that at Lenoz mansion several times in the past. They were great together and Leno still hasnt been replaced by nbc. Thanx for thw vid
Love Chris Rock
"Baby needs diamond shoes". I've even gone back recently to watching "Everybody Hates Chris" which first aired a few months after this interview. And when he first broke out on SNL and got the role in New Jack City he was just starting standup. His show in 1992 was the very first standup comedy show I attended and he was the only celebrity I ever met in person. I'm sure many are here because of the 2022 incident but I don't think he'll ever be asked to host in the future after that thing. Still, he will always be funny to me.
I think even if he is asked to host he will probably reject it because of their lack of action on him being assaulted.
Two faced bs
"He's just the guy they bring out to talk to black people..." epic comeback
Your movie went straight to audio! #EpicComeback
That was the best bit! Such a witty guy... He smashed it!
Can someone please explain why Chris rock said your movie went straight to audio? Sorry for not knowing ahead of time don’t crucify me for it
@@coolandtrue8207 if a film created is bad it doesn't go to cinema but straight to DVD. Chris is saying the host's film would be so bad it won't even be good enough for screen time on DVD. 😂🤣 Audio might make it though. The host hasn't done a movie but that isn't the point; Chris is hitting back because the host jokes that Chris doesn't make good films.
@@coolandtrue8207 your username made me smile. 😅
@@NASSAfellow Leno was in the buddy cop movie "Collision Course" alongside Pat Morita aka Mr Miyagi.

Watching this after the Will slap. I can see why this man (Chris) is a huge threat to Will Smith. Wow!! What a guy. Now he will excel so much more. Poor little Willy.
It seems weird that Ricky Gervais pushed the envelope when Chris Rock is THE natural for straight-talking.
RG is very smart but goes a bit too far sometimes. Chris Rock has better points of view. His observational humor is one of the best. He is right below Dave Chappelle
As a British person, Ricky has moments of greatness but how repellent I find him, over rides those moments... If that makes sense? I don't feel that about Chris Rock
CHRIS ROCK......LEGEND.....LOVE YA..... BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKLYN......
"I think I love my Wife" is hilarious, and best commentary I have heard on a movie, from technical to humor to personal. Check it out!
This great man has hosted the Oscars 2x. He is mostly a stand up comedian but deserves to have an academy awar to go with the other 7 awards that he already has.
