Wasn't the time nor place to be going into legal details of names, who said exactly what. When. How. Because there's something called time. That of course may come in due course if united feel like they want to absolutely refute it and sue (which I doubt cos it must be true to some degree) and subsequently pass the buck back to Ronaldos team. And remember details like this take a different dimension if they're public as opposed to private. So to instantly request ronaldo to make these details public is ignorant.

The club hasn't changed UTD gaslighted fans with Ralf as the new sporting director narrative but then only used him as an interim manager and returned to their corporate structure. Ten Haag should've been honest to Ronaldo directly and said you're not in my plans instead he aligned with the execs on the matter and even worse played the media game of acting like a benevolent force. When Arteta came to Arsenal he tried with Ozil but he couldn't get the best out of him with the squad he had. He personally rated Ozil highly but was honest to the player and the board about not having him in his plans. Ozil never had an issue with Arteta but the board who basically wasted his time signing him and not bolstering the squad whilst he was there. Countless times when the media narrative and fans were deriding Ozil for not running enough (even though data shows he had the highest average distance covered) Arteta always defended his professionalism. Same with Auba it was clear that he couldn't fit into the system or style of play and instead of mucking him about was firm with the board about letting him go in January. In both occasions those decisions cost Arsenal millions but they did it because Arteta was firm on those points. Ten Haag should've been firm on his Ronaldo stance to the board in the summer instead of being fake and duplicitous.

How is it Ronaldo's fault that the likes of Shaw, Wan-Bissaka, Maguirre, Rashford, McTominay and so on were horrible last season and have either been dropped or stepped up their game this season? I don't at all understand the whole ETH subbing him on/off situation. In the Man City game Man U were getting dominated and Martial gets subbed on and managed to scored 2 goals along with Athony and made the score a bit more respectable. In the Spurs game Man U were doing really well so there was no need to change it up and bring Ronaldo on until the last minutes of the game, it's not the same.
Bringing on last minute subs is a part of managerial strategy these days. Ronaldo shows how he feels to be above such considerations.
It shows how egotistical Ronaldo is that he's taking offence at being brought on as a last minute sub. We all know the reason why: he's obsessed with his personal stats and it would count as another appearance without a goal this season. When you boil down his beef with ETH, it's THAT petty and egotistical, but Piers Morgan was never going to have the spine to call him out on this.
