So awesome!! Finally someone showing that all things are not real on the interwebs!! Thanks for the outstanding review!!
Brandon O. Lol. It looked like a bubble gum stain. We tried our best, that’s for sure.
Thanks for making this, always been curious about these kits. Now I know!
Practical Car Guy I really wish it had worked out better. Lol.
@@JohnEngel At this point, maybe buy a dash mat and just cover the whole thing LOL Out of sight, out of mind!
Practical Car Guy I agree. I would also like to try to fix it with some epoxy and air brush but I would need all of that to even try.
J b weld works
Ram air Trans am badass drove those car's new when I worked at delership
Tony Brown love the WS6. Such a beautiful design.
Product is more YMMV. Your mileage may vary by a lot. I have had this kit work very well in some cases (usually chunks missing not broke flaps) on uses car lots and I have also had it not work for shit. That needs more than that kit can manage sadly.
Austin Moats great to know. I figured we did something wrong. Lol.
New sub bro
Thank you so much. :)
@ 15:00 your result lofl!
Keyword CHEAP. I tried this kit as it's no good. I simply cut out bad area tucked in new piece of leather in and a bit of glue and done. Was a square where new patch was but better than it was as it was just a used car.

"So in this kit it comes with quite a few different things. The Mountain Dew is not included...." lol
Morgan Whaley I wanted to make sure no one got too excited. Morgan send me your address to johnen@usca.edu I have a surprise for you.
well since you are using vinyl repair on plastic...
It made my seat all white .... and it also stayed tacky in cut of my seat 😑
MLGKrypton yeah. I wasn’t impressed either. :( Sad because I had expected a little better.
John Engel wish I would’ve seen this video before hand lol ... now i have to wait to see if it dries or if I can remove it some how without ruining my seat... or find someone to do it professionally
MLGKrypton I know what you mean. I would look for a pro. This is something that can be done and make your seats look new again but you need the right tools and experience.
Why do you sound like Tmartn
Who is that?
@@JohnEngel a gaming KZheadr haha
@@SS-rm9cw I’ll have to go look him up.
I know that work u want anybody
You guys DEFINITELY stick to nuts and bolts. Experimenting on someone's car?? Lacking any "crafting" skills cannot be overstated. Preparation, knowledge of processes related to the materials involved, heat curing materials or following instructions and using your head and the internet. Sorry, just tough love and advice.
Have to start somewhere. I’m sure that everyone started with something they weren’t perfect at.
@@JohnEngel yes, my only thought is to practice in a few items and test your theories on how it will go - before real customers. It's pretty clear early that it was bound to fail. I do appreciate balls to post your work so take my critical noise for what it's worth 😁🤞
Lol. No worries. I don’t always post the fails but wanted people to see that this is something that will take practice and they should not think they will fix it on the first ever try.
I believe you are trying to repair plastic , NOT vinyl . Thus poor results.
Gregg Goebel great point. I really should have thought of that myself. Lol. Great comment and perspective.
Um, vinyl IS plastic...
