    • Noob generacion! Because you are a member of a shallow generation who has no idea what good music is, you would never look for it on your own! Your generation is not worthy to listen to these classics! We, the last BIG generation, are only worthy! The ones who were young in the 80's! Your generation poisons everything, you are addicted to your phones and only listen to music in movies, you never seek it from yourselves!

  • I saw Journey at the Old Waldorf in S.F, two nights in a row! Steve was just being introduced at that point at the end for a couple songs- if you can believe it! They announced him and then launch into "La Do Da" (!) Unreal, breathtaking. So powerful, with a singer that matched their excellence note for note! I was back stage the second night walking past the pool table- and here comes, yes, Steve Perry, the man himself! As we approached each other, he looks at me and smiles and says "I knew you'd be here!" What a surprise! I had no idea he was that perceptive of a nobody! Awesome memory Steve, thank you brother for your inspiring and healing singing. There are more, but that's it for now (!) Peace and love brothers and sisters on this beautiful "Journey" together. 💖 ✌️ ☮️ 🕊 🌈 🌟

  • Steve Perry was a phenom from the first moment he was heard on a mass scale. But don't short shrift Neil and the band, they are full on kicking ass like only bands from the 70s and 80s could. You'll never get this level of emotion and intensity from gridded music. You need a young band of young men making a point. So good. So sad we're so far away from it now. From a songwriting standpoint, the verse is actually cooler than the chorus, which is a relief. The verse builds huge intensity through the interplay of the voice and power chords. Neil Schon's solos are top notch.

The 80's always has something to give and then some. Look into Pat Benatar, Loverboy, Night Ranger, Cyndi Lauper, Def Leppard, and so on. 1984 is when things really took due to MTV. Now days we are lucky to get a good song every 2-5 years, back then great songs were coming out every weekend you couldn't keep up unfortunatly that was long ago. Thanks for enjoying this band from long ago and keeping the 80's alive. PS look into Tina Turner w/ Brian Adams " It's only love" live you wont be dissapointed.
