What makes the greatest driver DOES NOT involve having the fastest car, but the skill to make an average car look fast. Alonso perfected this notion with the fastest lap in an unfancied Aston Martin. He didn't do it in a Ferrari, or a McLaren or a Mercedes or even a Red Bull. He did it in THAT car. Come on, how can he not be considered the greatest driver of all time after that?
